Five Years Later

"Whoa. Hey, no! I told you that you weren't allowed in here anymore." Tony yelled out to Luna.

She found the nearest bench in the training room and plopped down onto it with a heavy sigh.

"Chill out, tin can. I'm not here to do any training."

"I don't care. It's too dangerous."

"Oh my God, were you this annoying when Pepper was pregnant?" Luna grumbled and caressed her stomach.

When Bucky first mentioned children, she was hesitant to say yes. He was understanding as always, but she knew it was something he wanted. Luna wasn't opposed to having children. There was always a part of her that dreamed about the kind of mother she would be, how she'd give them the childhood she never had, but she was scared.

Life is full of uncertainties and chaos. She couldn't guarantee that her kids would have a great childhood. The only thing she could guarantee was that she and Bucky would love them unconditionally. So, she began discussing it with Raynor. With her help, Luna was able to work through her issues and become comfortable, almost excited even, with the idea of adding a baby to their small family.

"Well, excuse me for wanting to make sure you and Terminator Jr. are safe."

Luna scowled at the nickname Tony had given her son.

"I'm just looking for Bucky."

Tony motioned around the training room and then looked back at Luna.

"He's not here, so skedaddle before you trip on a loose weight or something."

Luna ignored Tony and scanned the area. She saw Wanda and Nat on the opposite side of the room. Wanda was doing her best to knock Nat down with her powers, but Nat was quick and tumbled out of the way of each blast Wanda fired at her.

"Hey! My two favorite redheads." She called out. "Have you seen my husband?"

"I guess I'm just invisible now." Tony muttered to himself.

The two women stopped upon hearing her voice and crossed the room to join Luna and Tony.

"Hey, sweetie. How's my nephew doing?" Wanda sat down next to Luna as she spoke.

"Oh, he's fine. I'm the one in agony. I think he got Bucky's super strength. That or he's destined to be the best damn NFL placekicker to ever live. My insides are screaming from all the moving around he did last night."

"Only one more week until your due date, babe, then you're insides can have some peace." Nat chuckled.

"Yeah, about that..." Luna trailed off.

"I don't like that tone." Tony said. "Luna, why are you looking for Bucky?"

"My water sorta broke, so I need to go to the hospital."

"What? When?" Tony's eyes widened.

"Like, an hour ago, I think." She said calmly.

"Are you kidding me?" He hissed.

"Why didn't you have FRIDAY alert us?" Wanda asked.

"I wanted to finish the movie I was watching."

"Seriously, Luna?" Nat arched a brow at her.

"It was a really good movie."

Luna shrugged and rubbed her hand over her stomach. Just as Tony took a deep breath to scold her, the back doors of the training room opened and Bucky strolled in with Steve. His grey t-shirt was wet with sweat from the run he had taken and the short locks of his hair were plastered to his forehead. Bucky laughed loudly at something Steve said, but his attention snapped to Luna within a second.
