Carolina didn't even waste time to change into sleeping clothes. The moment they arrived at my room, dumeretso siya sa akin para pigilan akong mahiga.
"Sierra... Hindi pwede... bukas na natin gagawin ang plano!" seryosong sabi ni Juliana.
Umirap ako. "Okay, fine!"
I closed my eyes while listening to them. Ginagalaw ko ang kamay ko para makita nilang gising ako. Pero my mind is becoming blurry as I feel sleepy.
Hindi ko alam kung bakit biglang naging tahimik. Wala rin akong naintindihan sa sinasabi nila kaya baka tapos na? And as if that's a cue my mind is waiting for, biglang nawawala na ako sa focus.
I felt myself drifting to nothingness not until I felt a liquid on my face.
Parang bumalik ang kalukuwa ko sa katawan ko nang makaramdam ako ng lamig. I gasped in shock.
"What the hell!" sigaw ko. Agad agad akong tumayo para hindi mabasa ang kama ko.
"Are you sleepy yet!" inis ding tanong ni Carolina.
I glared at her dumbfounded when I saw she had a cup in her hands.
Juliana hissed at me. "Wala na tayong time para mag away away dito! It's already midnight. Bukas na ang party!"
"Kung hindi lang kasi inaantok 'tong bata!" sabat ni Sheena.
I gritted my teeth. Ako na itong nabasa ako pa ang pinagtutulungan!
"Kung hindi lang kasi kayo mga bobita... dapat alam niyong dapat ay natutulog ang bata sa tamang oras!" I retorted feeling pissed. I know they will be pissed at that!
Juliana groaned. "Guys! Please... Sheena!" suway niya kay Sheena.
But I didn't stop!
Tinuro ko si Sheena. "Dapat natutulog din siya eh. She's still twenty two. Bata parin yon!" I said just to annoy them. Hindi pwedeng ako lang ang naiinis dito!
Napasapo ng mukha si Juliana. Carolina sighed as if she's so done with me.
Kawawa naman!
"Sierra! sit!" utos ni Carolina. Punong puno na.
Umirap ako at humalukipkip. "Ano ako? Bata?"
"Oh my God! Wala tayong matatapos nito!" sigaw na ni Juliana.
Hindi na sumasabat si Sheena.
Silence stretched as I kept my hands against my chest glaring at them. I watched them suffer. Carolina massaged her temple. Juliana pursed her lips and irritation was etched on her face. Sheena was silent.
I let their agony for a few minutes. When I noticed they suffered enough, saka lang ako umupo. The way Carolina and Juliana looked at me, kung pwede lang akong tirisin, natiris na nila ako.
"Okay, what's the plan?" I broke the silence and the tension.
Carolina sighed. "Finally!" she uttered. She then looked at Sheena as if she was signalling her things I couldn't understand.
"Wala bang sinabi si Tita sayo tungkol sa party bukas?" Juliana asked me. Nag iingat nang mabaling sa iba ang usapan.
"Hmmm... Meron. She wants me to come but I told her I felt sick kaya hindi niya ako pinilit."
