Who's POV do y'all like best? Alastor's or Ashur's?

Alastor

Alastor sighed, walking to the alleyway Ashur had said he'd be at. At their last meeting Ashur said he wanted Alastor to tag along with him, that he had a surprise. Alastor entered the alleyway to see Ashur and Thaddeus talking to each other, when Thaddeus saw Alastor his eyes narrowed.

Alastor stopped himself a second before he did the same, Ashur was watching him, and that meant Ash was too. Alastor eyed the alleyway, it was a horrible place to be, with only one exit and no way out. Once you came in you could be cornered easily.

"You're here!" Ashur said, running up to Alastor. Alastor jumped, instinctively getting ready to light his hand on fire. Thaddeus tensed and Alastor had to remind himself what he was there for, he was wanted to be good.

"Here." Ashur said, handing Alastor a neon green vest. "What's this for?" Alastor asked, taking the vest from Ashur. "I volunteered all three of us for some community service, picking up trash by the highway." Ashur said, Thaddeus perked like this was news for him as well.

"Uh..." Alastor wanted to protest, but just looking into Ashurs big blue eyes made him stop. "Fine." He sighed, putting the vest on. Ashur smiled as he ran back to Thaddeus, handing him a vest. Thaddeus told Ashur something, his gaze flickering to Alastor, Ashur shook his head in response.

He doesn't trust me, not one bit. Alastor thought, he just couldn't wait till this was over. He took out his phone, deciding he might as well check the time to know how long he'd be out in the sun. But when he held the on button down he was greeted with a dead battery sign, Alastor sighed. I have the worst luck.

Alastor sighed as he pulled the vest off, after a long argument between Ashur and Thaddeus they took him to their home. It was a long two hours in the sun, and the occasional taunting from the kids in cars didn't help Alastor's mood.

Alastor sat in a chair, watching Ashur and Thaddeus argue. It was obvious Thaddeus didn't want Alastor around, and he especially didn't want him knowing where they lived. Alastor sighed, Ashur walked out the house, standing on the small patio in the back yard.

Alastor glanced over at Thaddeus, who had turned to look at Alastor. Alastor suddenly felt shy, being the target of Thaddeus' remaining anger. I shouldn't feel scared of what he could say to me, after all I'm stronger. Alastor turned away, standing up.

He reached for his phone when he felt it buzz, he looked at the screen to see Athena calling him. He smiled, and answered the phone.

"Hi."

"Hi Alastor!"

"What'd you call for, is everything all right?"

"Oh yes, everything's fine, I was just calling to see if you'd want to come over for dinner tonight?"

"I'd love to."

"Ok then, it's settled! Pasta for dinner, your favorite." Athena said, she said a quick goodbye and hung up. Alastor smiled, putting the phone back into his pocket, he turned back around to see Thaddeus staring at him, confused.

"Didn't you say your phone was dead?" Thaddeus asked, Alastor paused before speaking. "Oh yeah, guess I was wrong." "No Alastor, you showed it to Ashur, it was dead." Thaddeus said, standing up. Alastor pulled the phone out, pressing the on button. The screen didn't come to life like it did before, just showed a dead battery sign.

What? "Alastor, who were you talking to?" Thaddeus said, looking at Alastor with worried eyes. "Athena." Alastor mumbled, but he knew Thaddeus heard when his eyes widened. "But- Alastor you know-" "She's not dead, she survived the bullet." Alastor cut him off.

"Alastor." Thaddeus said, causing Alastor to look him in the eyes. "I shot her in the head. There was no way she could've survived." Thaddeus said, his voice was strained, like it hurt him too saying it. "No, no, you shot her in the chest. She- she survived-" Alastor said, his breathing quickening.

Thaddeus extended a hand to try and comfort Alastor, but Alastor jumped, slapping his hand away. "You're- You're lying! You don't want me happy, thats all it is!" Alastor said, backing away. His words were coming out fast, like they were trying to run each other over.

"I know it's hard to accept, but she's gone Alastor." Thaddeus said, Alastor shook his head frantically, tears were starting to fall but he didn't care. He flinched as a shot of memories came back to him, holding Athena in his hands as the blood stained her white hair. Alastor whimpered, grabbing his head to try and stop the memories.

It didn't work. Alastor felt everything coming back to him, he had imagined everything. Everything. Thaddeus tried reaching for Alastor again, but he pushed him away. He back up, his eyes wild as they looked for a way to escape. Suddenly they locked onto the door behind Thaddeus. "Alastor-" Thaddeus was cut off as Alastor ran past him, pushing the door open and running out.

Alastor ran to Truman's hotel room, wiping away the tears on the way. He stopped in his tracks when he saw the door was wide open, his forced himself to calm down. He walked to the room, walking inside. His eyes widened when he saw Truman on the floor, a gag in his mouth and blood all over the floor.

Alastor let out a gasp, his hands shaking as he ran towards him. "No please, don't be dead Truman please, please I can't have a repeat of last time." Alastor said, picking up Trumans head to stop him from swallowing the blood leaking from his nose.

Truman groggily looked up at Alastor, his bright green eyes looking more dull. "Alastor.." he started, his voice barely a whisper. "What? What's wrong?" Alastor said, getting closer to Truman. "Run." Truman said, his voice trembling.

"What? Tru-" Alastor was cut off as a figure walked out of the shadows. "Well, well, well, if it isn't the mastermind himself." Zagen said, he had some blood on his knuckles, and some on his white shirt. "You! You hurt him." Alastor said, standing up.

"Yes I did, I can tell what your doing Alastor. I know that your plotting something with Ashur and Thaddeus." Zagen said, he took a threatening step towards Alastor, who backed up. "This," -Zagen pointed towards Truman- "is what happens when you disobey me, I'll find everyone you love Alastor. They're all weaknesses to you, and if you ever, ever, try this shit again I'll make sure Truman dies a bloody death." Zagen threatened, by this time he had Alastor cornered against a wall.

He raised a hand, hitting Alastor before he could react. Alastor yelped, falling to the ground. He looked over to Truman, who was watching everything unfold. Alastor suddenly jumped, covering his face as Zagen lunged towards him. "Don't let this happen again." Zagen growled, his voice cold. Alastor feebly nodded, and Zagen backed away, leaving the room. He slammed the door behind him, leaving the two brothers in complete silence.

Alastor got up and went over to Truman, sitting down beside him. He was starting to get a black eye from Zagen, but it didn't hurt, after all he was used to it. "You okay?" Alastor asked, helping Truman sit up. Truman nodded. "Yeah, he didn't really hurt me." Truman said, Alastor knew he was lying but didn't fuss over it.

"Are you ok? You look stressed, and your eye..." Truman trailed off, lifting a hand to touch Alastor face. Alastor let him, after all he was now more comfortable with Truman than he ever was. Truman set his hand over Alastor's eyes, he took a deep breath, closing his eyes. Alastor felt a tingling feeling, and the weariness from his face started to fade.

Once Truman pulled away he looked exhausted, Alastor looked into a nearby mirror and noticed the black eye was gone. "Truman- what- how did you do that?" Alastor said, he jumped to grab Truman as he feel backwards, fainting.

Alastor picked him up, walking out of the room. He'd take him back to Widow, it'd get him away from Zagen for a while anyways. What's Zagen gonna think when he sees me? He knows I should have a black eye, after all he was the one to give it to me. Will he know Truman healed me? And will he take him away to use him?

Alastor had to stop these thoughts from coming, he had to be strong.

For Truman.
