(Go read Charlie's chapter before this one.)
Alastor arrived at the casino, walking quickly. Most of the workers moved out of his way swiftly. Alastor didn't come in mad usually, so on the rare occasions he did most people knew he was being serious.
He had gotten Zagens text, telling him he could deal with Thaddeus for now. But he had to hold back from killing him. Which was probably the downside of it all.
It didn't matter though, just the thought of getting to torture Thaddeus made him somewhat satisfied. He couldn't focus on anything, couldn't sleep or eat while he waited for word from Zagen.
But it wasn't enough. Nothing would've been enough. He wanted Thaddeus to suffer for a lifetime because of what he did to Athena. Thinking about her made his heart hurt, but Alastor pushed on.
He walked to the back of the casino, approaching a large safe-like door. He readied himself, trying to somewhat get himself calm before he opened the door. Alastor took a deep breath before he opened the safe-like door, immediately getting hit by a wave of fire to the face.
Alastor winced, grabbing his face as he felt the burn marks. Alastor smiled, running his hand through his hair as he looked back to Thaddeus. "Well, you've definitely doomed any chance of me showing mercy." Alastor said, small burn scars now scattered around his face.
Thaddeus glared up at him, he was sitting on the ground. It made sense, Alastor knew the chains didn't let you stand up, after all he had spent most of his time in there when he was younger.
Alastor felt the cold air, not affected by it. After all the time he spent in there he had grown used to the pain. Alastor kneeled down, at face level with Thaddeus. Alastor gave him a fake smile before punching him, his fist sparking.
"I can't wait to see you suffer at my hands." Alastor said, a psychotic look in his eyes. He punched Thaddeus again, before grabbing his head and slamming it into the icy wall.
Thaddeus grunted, slamming his head into Alastors. Alastor winced, his head going back. "At least this won't be boring." Alastor said, making his hand spark as he grabbed Thaddeus's arm. He placed his hand down on the chain, making it smoke. The mixture of cold and heat was painful, Alastor knew it from experience.
Thaddeus screamed, shutting his eyes tight. Alastor smirked, he did the same for Thaddeus's other hand. Thaddeus tried pulling his arms away, but Alastors grip was tight.
He kept this going for a while, letting go only to hurt Thaddeus in different ways. He had to admit, this did make him feel a bit better. But he wanted more. He wanted Thaddeus dead.
Even as he tortured him he couldn't help but think about it. Alastor stopped, breathing heavily. The cold air around him made him less strong, but that didn't mean his hits didn't hurt.
Thaddeus's lip was bleeding, and he had a black eye. Compared to Thaddeus's wounds Alastor looked perfectly fine. Even his burn marks and the cut on his head from the fight Thaddeus put up didn't look nearly as bad as his wounds.
Alastor lunged towards Thaddeus, stopping midway. Thaddeus flinched, turning his face away. Alastor was a bit surprised. Sure he was used to people being scared of him, but someone as stubborn as Thaddeus acting scared?
A small part of him felt bad, but was quickly shoved away. He deserved every bit of pain, even more. He'd beat him to death right here if he could, but would probably been sternly punished by Zagen afterwards.
Alastor saw Thaddeus hand shaking, it was clear he was trying to hide it but Alastors crazy darting eyes caught it. Alastor smirked, he backed away. Thaddeus hesitantly opened his eyes, his hands up to protect his face.
Alastor noticed how he himself was once in that situation, trying to protect himself from Zagen. 'Have I gone too far?' Alastor thought, Thaddeus's blood on his fists. 'No. In fact I didn't go far enough. He killed Athena, she didn't deserve that.' Alastor thought, fueled again by rage.
"Don't miss me too much." Alastor said, giving Thaddeus a head pat. It felt satisfying, treating Thaddeus the same way he had treated him. Alastor walked outside, closing the door behind him. He smiled to himself.
He couldn't wait to continue his, 'conversation' with Thaddeus once Zagen was done.
