Hello guys! Since Alastor is dead (rip my son) I'll only have povs from my other characters, for ThatCharlieChick book. (Btw go read it)

Ashur

Ashur stared wide eyed at Thaddeus, who was still breathing heavily. He still had that crazy look in his eyes, and a smile on his face. Ashur flinched when Thaddeus looked over at him. He came over, looking at Ashurs wounds.

"Stay away from me." Ashur said, his voice cold. Thaddeus was confused for a moment. "Yes, you. Don't get close to me." Ashur growled, stepping away from Thaddeus. "What the hell is wrong with you? You- you killed him!" Ashur said, his eyes wide.

"He was going to kill you, and me." Thaddeus responded, looking slightly down. "You could've restrained him, he said he would leave us alone if you let him go. He even said he'd leave the state!"Ashur said, his voice rising.

"How can I trust him? He's crazy!" Thaddeus said, Ashur laughed coldly. "He's crazy?! Thaddeus, you just killed a man who was begging for mercy!" Ashur said, Thaddeus took a step towards him. Ashurs eyes widened, he stumbled back.

"I already told you- STAY AWAY!" Ashur snapped, ice crackling at his fingertips. Thaddeus stopped, a hurt expression on his face. Ashur felt horrible, he wanted to comfort Thaddeus. But he couldn't, what if Thaddeus snapped and killed Ashur too? What- what if he blames me for his moms death? If I had fought against Alastor- maybe she'd still be here. I could've taken her place.

Ashur thought, it certainly would've been a better death than the one he'd eventually face. Ashur's breathing quickened a notch and he knew he'd have to get away, when Thaddeus was still looking concerned and hurt Ashur turned and ran.

He heard Thaddeus' yells for him to come back but didn't stop. He felt so torn, that he couldn't trust the only person he had trusted. He ran off, tears pricking at his eyes.
