After scarfing down the breakfast Finn had made for her, she looked expectantly at Kol who was already looking at her. Without hesitation, he pulled the ascendant from his pocket, setting it in front of his soulmate. "So, darling, how exactly is this going to work?"

Sol looked at the device which she could feel magic radiating from. "The Bennett witches were the ones to help the Gemini coven lock them, so I'm hoping if I take the magic used to lock it and use it against itself, it'll unlock. Thus, freeing Kai."

"Hoping?" Niklaus grew anxious.

"Yes, Bennett witches are the only ones able to open Prison Worlds. That's why I'm hoping to trick it by using it's own magic and Bonnie's blood. If that won't work, I suppose I'll have to look through some grimoires..." Sol's voice trailed off at the thought. It sounded exhausting, especially to a newbie witch. She had no clue what she was doing, but continued to go with the flow. In her mind, it made sense and should trick the ascendant, but there was always a chance she could be wrong.

Grabbing the young witch's blood from the fridge, she poured it over the ascendant, that was lying in her palm, as she began to mutter the spell she'd heard Bonnie use. Pulling magic from the device as she used it against it. Sol, who felt like she was throwing caution to the wind, focused heavily on trying to open the lock. She'd even begun to imagine a locked door before her. Hands thrust against this imaginary door as she continued to speak the spell.

She felt a hand land on her shoulder and her body instinctively pulled more power from it. Her body felt strong— powerful. Giving the door one last heavy push with her magic, it flung open.

A gasp escaped her lips as the magic stopped. The ascendant clicked in her hand. Holy shit. Did that actually just work? Her eyes quickly searched the room, and sure enough, there he was in all his sociopathic glory— Kai Parker. With a weak smiling pulling at her lips, she observed her newly acquired friend and, hopefully, teacher.

"And who might you be?" He looked down at the little witch with the bleeding nose before moving to the rest of the people in the room. He counted one woman and four men. How had he gotten out? One minute he's traveling, and the next it's like there's an earthquake— which is impossible given the circumstances.

Sol's body felt weak, which the men quickly picked up on. Helping her into her chair, she met the man's gaze again. "I'm your new best friend considering I performed a prison break for you."

He eyed the witch at the new information, he could feel some power from her, but not a lot. She most certainly wasn't a Bennett Witch either. How had she unlocked the prison? "A little thing like you got me out?"

"Yep!" She chirped, unaffected by his words. "I'm Solène Griffith, siphoner witch, much like yourself." She held out her hand to Kai. Humming, he placed his hand in hers, and began siphoning magic from her.

Unfazed, she did the same, moving her other hand onto Niklaus who was standing close to her. "How long will we be playing this game? As much as I like them, this will get boring since I have more magic at my disposal than you." She smirked up at the siphoner.

"So you keep these vampires around as batteries then? How'd you manage that?" Having been verbally demoted to batteries the Mikaelson men growled at their soulmate's friend.

"No, these are the Mikaelsons, the Original vampires and my soulmates. You've heard of the vampire phenomenon, yes?" Still swirling magic between the two of them, she squeezed his hand tighter. He was stronger, so if she wasn't taking power from Niklaus, Kai could take away all her magic. Giving him more magic, though, he could be a threat to her soulmates. She had to be smart when conversing with him. "I know a lot of things about a lot of things," her tone became playful as she shrugged. "We could help you achieve things greater than your original goal."

Kai glared down at the little witch. He had a lot of power now, he could just take her out, but would he be able to handle four Originals? What exactly did she know? "Taking out your coven, understandable after what they did to you, but why lead that declining coven when you could build your own power, have more powerful friends?" Her strength swelled with the power looping between her and Kai.

Boldly, she stood, removing her hand from Klaus. "Join us, Kai. We'll help you achieve things beyond your revenge. I'll share my knowledge with you; everything I know about you, your coven, and what would happen in the future without my interference."

Having intrigued the siphon, she felt his power stop. Removing her hand from his, she visibly relaxed. Things were going well.

Rebekah walked back into the mansion, having gotten a dress she spotted in a magazine. She needed a break after seeing Sage. Her eyes rolled at the thought of the red-headed vampire. Carrying her shopping bags in both hands, she went towards the dining room where she found Sol, her brothers and an unfamiliar man.

"And who might you be?" Kai smirked at the blonde.

"That's Rebekah," Sol eyed the stunned blond. What was going on with her? "The sister of the Mikaelsons."

"Shit," Rebekah muttered, eyeing the man in front of her. Of all people, it had to be the sociopath her best friend wanted to learn magic from. Her brother caught on first, Niklaus and Kol finding it most amusing.

"It seems our sister had found her soulmate." Kol teased.

Solène visibly perked up at the information. "Really?! Bekah, that's amazing!" She rushed over to her friend, taking a hand in her own. This would mean that Kai could be brought even further into the fold. He would become family! Perhaps the soulmate bond could soften him up a bit , Sol looked over to Nik and Kol, or maybe a lot. Maybe it's random...

"So, Kai, what's your decision? Stay with us and do everything you could ever want, or will you leave and begin your revenge alone?" Looking back to the taller siphon, she found his eyes were still on Rebekah. A smirk pulled on her lips. Shaking Rebekah's hand, she gestured towards Kai with the tilt of her head.

"Yes. What will you do?" Rebekah repeated the question.

Clearing his throat, his eyes scanned over the others once more. "I supposed I could stick around."

Sol nearly squealed with excitement. Stepping back over to Kai, she looked up at him. "You'll teach me how to use my powers, right? It was really hard to break you out, y'know? Seeing as I'm not a Bennett." She crossed her arms over her chest, but kept a pleading expression on her face.

"Will you share everything you know about my situation if I do?" A smirk plastered on his lips as he leaned down towards Sol.

"Obviously! You're family now. Family has special privileges." The word family, although not foreign, felt strange to hear. His last family wasn't much like a family to him. Would this one full of homicidal originals be any different? At the very least, they wouldn't torment him for being a siphon, seeing as the men's soulmate was one as well. He also had questions about that. He'd heard of the phenomena, but wasn't able to learn much about it before he was locked away in his Prison World. Now, he was suddenly declared to be the Mikaelson sisters' soulmate. What did that mean for him? It kind of excited him to find out.
