Back at the Mikaelson Mansion, the group went inside, Elijah moving to the kitchen to make Solène some lunch; Finn followed close behind Elijah, eager to learn the art of cooking. Sol promised herself to start baking with Finn in the future. Lorenzo wasn't quite sure what to do with himself as he was unfamiliar with his saviors. Kol was drinking with Klaus while Rebekah was flipping through a magazine. Solène stuck herself between Kol and Nik, who were on the ends of the couch, before offering Enzo the seat across from them.
Trying to be as casual as he could managed, he sat down while taking in his saviors. It was easy to tell from his short experience with them that they were much older than him, so he had no plans to offend them. What was most curious to him, however, was the human that was in the middle of them; the one who knew his name before introductions.
"Lorenzo St. John," the woman smiled at him. "I'm Solène Griffith. These are the Mikaelsons, the Originals. Have you heard of them?" Her head tilted as she waited for his reply, which was only a single nod. "Perfect. Well, thank you for going along with us. I should, in a few days, be able to provide you with a daylight ring of your own. Until then, I'll ask you stay close. We will need that ring back." Her head nodded to the one currently on the his finger. "After that, you're free to do as you please. Sound good?"
"Almost sounds too good, truthfully," he eyed the woman in front of him. "How did you know where I was, my name, and why save me?" He was referring to the fact the men left behind the other vampires to wait for night time, but took him along while borrowing this daylight ring.
The vampires on her sides both looked at her before sharing a glance with each other. They weren't going share Sol's secret behind her vast knowledge, although Kol was still trying to wrap his head around it all. He was curious to see what she'd tell the little vampire.
"I'm a seer. I knew you were there, and I've seen some of your future." The witch shrugged casually, like her knowledge was no big deal to her. "Would you have preferred I left you there to be tortured for..." she drifted off to count the years. "Is it four? Five more years? I can't remember the exact time frame."
"No, that's quite all right." He insisted, not totally believing that she was a seer. He'd never come across one before his time with Augustine. Flickering his eyes to the men on either side of the woman, he found that they were casual about her speaking of the future. They seemed to know about her knowledge then. "Should I be searching for accommodations, or would I be staying here?" He asked, wondering how far they'd let him go with his borrowed ring. Angering the original vampires is certainly not on his to do list.
"You're welcome to stay here until you adjust to the times." She smiled at the man, much to the Mikaelson brothers' displeasure. Kol was about to complain about the offer, but she spun to him. "He stays here, or at my apartment with me." Effectively silencing Kol, to Rebekah's amusement, the witch stood when she saw Elijah in the doorway.
She sat at the dining table where all the Mikaelson's seemed to congregate after she did, when she thought of the abandoned van they drove up to get her car. "Oh, god. Nik, what about the van? We have to return that!"
"Already taken care of, love." He waved a dismissive hand. "Eat your lunch, and tell us about this friend of yours." Niklaus' eyes flickered to Enzo, who was almost awkwardly sat at the table as well. He didn't want to lounge alone in a house that was not his own, but knowing he was in the presence of originals, who seemed to listen to a human women, kept him alert.
"You want to hear about Kai?" Her eyes lit up. She could not deny that Kai was not a good person, but honestly, she didn't really blame him either. His family was awful to him simply because he was a little different than them. She didn't believe murdering nearly all of his siblings was necessary, but she saw where he was coming from. He would be the best one to teach her about being a siphon since she had no plans to release the heretics from their prison world.
She hadn't gotten that far in the show, only seeing things online as the last few seasons didn't interest her as much. Therefore, she knew about them, heretics, and how they were created; however, she knew nothing about the ones locked away and planned to keep it that way.
It actually warmed her heart that she could keep her magic and become a vampire to stay with the Mikaelsons forever. She could spend the rest of eternity caring for them as they cared for her.
"So, I think you'll be a big fan of him, Nik. Malachai, or Kai, Parker is a siphon from the Gemini coven." Klaus listened closely since his soulmate believed he could make a friend out of this possible teacher for Solène. "They treated him terribly, as witches do with siphons, and in 1994 he slaughtered his siblings. Leaving only his own twin and the youngest twins alive, who were cloaked with magic. He's a total sociopath, that one." Sol let out a laugh. "Anyways, after his misdeeds, his father had him locked up in a prison world where he's been stuck ever since. Never aging, never dying. It's the method they often use for siphons, locking them up in prison worlds. To get him out, we'll need some Bennett blood." She looks to Kol. "Think you can add that to your list? As harmlessly as possible, please?" Her features looked desperate, causing a constriction in Kol's dead heart.
"Anything for you, darling," Kol was eager to see his soulmate perform magic, and would do whatever it takes to make it happen.
"You think I'd get on with a literal sociopath?" Klaus seemed offended at the comment.
"Don't you both have sibling murder in common? Family-cide? Sibling-cide? Is there a term for that?" Her head spun towards Elijah, who like his other siblings, were trying not to laugh at Klaus' expense. "Not to mention, he very much would like to kill his father. You two could bond over committing patricide, no?" Her head tilted once more as the siblings let their laughs fill the room.
"Eat your lunch, Little Witch, before your mouth gets you in trouble."
