It was late in the evening, after Sol had already fallen asleep, when Stefan sent her the next update. 'She's awake,' was all the message said. Her nerves rose, knowing the awful witch was back in the land of the living, but she felt more confident after the cleansing. She also had one more trick up her sleeve to help them get out all their frustrations, hopefully, since they probably won't be satisfied only talking it out. They spent centuries murdering people who wronged them, one night of talking wouldn't fix everything, Sol acknowledged that.

After breakfast, she rounded up all people in the house, Enzo, too. They walked outside to the open front yard and all watched Sol hold up a paper covered in black marker. "Welcome to the Mikaelson Showdown, where we'll let go of that pent up aggression in a healthier fighting competition! You'll fight in the designated pairs, and the winning will move forward to the next fight. Simple, yes? At the end the winner can claim one prize of their choosing!" Sol beamed as the Mikaelsons expressions became brighter at the prize.

"Now, a few rules. No heart grabbing, nor removing, no tearing off body parts just because they can heal. I don't want to see stuff like that with my own eyes alright? Biting is an absolute no, especially for Nik. Biting is cheating and automatic disqualification. Pin your opponent for three seconds to win" The woman hummed, trying to remember if there were any other rules she needed to state.

"I think that's all for rules, and our wonderful guest Enzo has agreed to be our fair referee!" She clapped, smiling at the man who just looked confused.

"But I haven't agreed?"

"Did you not?" Sol's head tilted. "Oh, I must've forgot. Kai and I are soulmate with them, so it'd be unfair for us to be ref. You don't mind, right? I'm sure the oldest vampires fighting will make a good show."

"Well, I suppose I've nothing better to do."

"Wonderful!" Sol became giddy. "Then, shall we start round one?" She moved over to the two chairs Kai had pulled out for them to sit on. The witch mentioned her idea last night in their magic room, soundproof like the other rooms, and Kai was excited to see the oldest vampires fight. It'd be a sight he'd never seen before. "Round one! Finn and Niklaus!"

As discussed with Kai, the first round was made of pairs she thought would have the most frustration against one another, in her eyes at least. If things continued like she predicted, the Mikaelson's would be able to get their frustrations out effectively.

The group started cheering for Finn, his siblings clearly wanting Niklaus to lose. "Really? No one is hoping I'll win?" Sol chuckled at his exasperated expression.

"Ready?" Enzo looked at the pair facing off. With two nods, he continued. "Go!" Quickly stepping away, he stood next to the pair of siphons sitting on their chairs. He had no idea what she was trying to accomplish with this 'showdown,' but he couldn't help but be excited to see the results.

Despite laying in his coffin for centuries, Finn was still slightly older than Niklaus. Therefore, he managed to hold his own against Nik.

Sol felt her phone buzz, Carolin was texting her about some stuff happening on their side. She was also asking for some boy advice. The witch was trying her best to split her attention between the fight and her texts, but she went on a rant while giving advice and missed the end of the fight.

"Klaus is the winner!" Enzo announced, looking to Sol for the next pairing. It was certainly a show, despite the fact the siphon missed it for a text. Finn approached Sol, kissing her head.

"Feel better, my sweet?" She asked, marking Nik's name in the next bracket.

"Much. It was quite nice to get it all out of my system."

Sol leaned her head back to look at the man who was still hovering above her. "I'm glad. You fought very well." Eyes falling back to Enzo, she called out, "Round two! Elijah and Kol! Beks is up next with Niklaus!"

"So, is it going as you planned?" Kai whispered almost conspiratorially to the witch.

"So far. Elijah may not fight Nik, but I don't think he holds as much resentment as his other siblings did. Kol and Rebekah have quite a bit to get out of their system."

"So, Kol is going to win against him then?" Kai glanced over to the pair who were too busy battling it out to pay attention to their conversation.

"I don't know. I organized it with the highest chance of effectiveness. That doesn't mean I know the outcome." Sol shook her head sternly. She wouldn't be surprised if any of them won. They were all very powerful vampires, the Originals. Her eyes jumped back to the fight where Kol was pinning Elijah to the ground.

"Kol wins!" Enzo declared. The winner jumped up and looked at Sol, eyes nearly sparkling.

"Did you see that, darling? I think 'Lijah lost his touch." Kol mused to annoy his brother.

"Yes, honey, I saw. You did great! You're in the finals! You'll fight whoever wins between Nik and Beks."

The next fight started quickly, Rebekah not wasting the opportunity to fight Nik within the rules Sol had set. The blond fought hard against her brother, getting out all the frustrations that built up over so many years of being wronged by him. Lover after lover, Niklaus got rid of them all. Lover after lover, Rebekah had been betrayed.

It was different now; she had Kai, whom she was still getting to know. Although his sociopathy give him an air of carefree carelessness, he still held many cards to his chest. They knew the highlights that Sol had told everyone so they were relatively on the same page, but only Kai knew the details of his everyday life with his old family.

Rebekah hoped to get him to open up to her. It was strange, wanting to know everything little thing about her lovers. Not to say she didn't care about them, but her affection for Kai seemed to be on a different level from her previous ones. She enjoyed the way her soulmate made her feel, even if he's still an ass sometimes.

Her focus faltered for just a second and Niklaus pounced at the opening, pinning his sister to the ground. Three seconds of struggle later, Niklaus was declared the winner.

Rebekah huffed, standing from the ground and glanced at her soulmate. Sol quickly nudged him, tilting her head towards Rebekah. He just looked at her confused, not understanding her silent signals. "Say something, dumbass."

"Like what?" He hissed, slouching in his chair.

"God, you suck at this." Sol turned to look at Rebekah. "That was hot, Rebekah! I'd sleep with you!" The blond laughed at the words, feeling better about her loss already. Kai, on the other hand, felt a little bitter that he continued to struggle with words when it mattered.
