The family was speaking in the kitchen, continuing the discussion on their surprise guest while she cleaned up in the shower. "She had bruises on her arms. I don't want to send her back home without knowing everything from her side." Sol was adamant about her decision, Rebekah backing her up.

"It would be better to let her stay here a few days while we figure this out." The blond nodded. Sol smiled at her, grateful for her assistance.

Kol would've mentioned Rebekah's desire for children, but lately he'd found himself craving the same with Solène. He could picture her holding a baby, their child. However, the reality of his situation would sink in quickly, burning away any hope that bubbled up.

"What if the parents have called her in as missing? They could be waiting for her to return." Elijah offered, not against the idea of letting Maya stay. He merely wanted to make sure their idea was well thought out.

"It's late now. There's nothing wrong with checking in the morning. We'll ask her about her parents while another finds out if there's a missing child report. If there isn't, we'll work from the information she gives us. If it's safe for her to go and the bruises are from rough play, we'll send her back. If those bruises are from her parents, we keep her here until we decide what to do next. Everyone okay with that?"

Everyone was debating over the decision when they heard feet pattering down the staircase. A small blond peaked her head around the corner, taking in the groups appearance. Sol smiled at her entrance.

"Hey, kiddo! You ready to meet everyone?" Maya stepped out from behind the wall, wearing one of Sol's baggy hoodies as a nightgown. The witch wanted to scoop her into a hug because she looked so cute.

The woman did scoop her up, but it was to set her on the stool at the island, giving her a better angle to see everyone. Pointing towards Rebekah, Sol introduced her to the little girl before doing the same with Kai.

"They both like each other, but Kai is too chicken to say anything," the woman whispered into the little girls ear. The Mikaelson's started to chuckle, having heard her words, and Rebekah had leaned over to tell him what she'd said. Kai huffed and rolled his eyes at the words. Maya was giggling behind her hands, eyeing the future couple. The young girl hope to be as pretty as Rebekah when she grew up with a guy as handsome as Kai beside her.

Introducing all the brother's to Solène, Maya stretched up to whisper to into Sol's ear this time. "Are you dating on of them?" The men couldn't stop the smiles and smirks taking over their lips while Sol had playful glint appear in her eyes.

"I'm dating all of them!" She whispered back conspiratorially.

Maya gasped. "The movies said that's cheating! And that's bad!"

"This kind of relationship isn't cheating." Sol's voice wasn't really a whisper anymore. "They all love me, and I love them. We've decided to date. I'm their girlfriend, and all of them are my boyfriends."

"That can happen?" The girl's head tilted with her confusion.

"Yep!" Sol chirped. "It's called polyamory. It's a special kind of relationship where there is too much love for just two people to share." This was the best explanation she could think of for the child who was certainly less than ten years old. Anything more might only confuse the child. "Alright, do you need anything? Or are you ready to sleep?"

Maya shook her head, lifting her arms to receive help getting down from the tall stool. Everyone trailed up the steps behind the two, also wanting to go to sleep. Kai and Rebekah quickly said goodnight to everyone, going into their rooms.

The brothers were patiently waiting for their good night kisses. Currently, Sol was showing Maya the guest room across the hall from her own. "I'll be right across the hall if you need anything," she smiled, watching as the girl turned back to the guest room.

Noticing the the child's hesitance, she knelt down beside her. "You know, I actually have bad dreams sometimes and it's nice to have someone else in the bed with me. Can you sleep in my bed with me?"

Kol, not realizing Sol's purpose, opened his mouth to offer with a look over concern on his face. His brother's quickly stopped him, however, shaking their heads. He pouted, but didn't say anything, seeing Maya bobbing her head in agreement.

Sol kissed each of her soulmates on the cheek, telling them goodnight before she entered her room with Maya. The two girl snuggled under the blanket and quickly fell asleep.

The next morning, Solène woke up alone. Furrowing her brows, she crawled out of bed. Making her way downstairs, she found the boys surrounding Maya, who was at the island. The young girl giggling as the men danced and sang to the music coming out of the radio.

Despite seeming hesitant to temporarily house Maya, they seemed to be getting along fine now. Sol leaned in the open archway to the kitchen, watching the silliness happen. Niklaus had opted to use the spatula as a mic; Kol using one of the pans as a guitar while Finn tapped his hands onto different surfaces to the beat of the song. Elijah had stopped the girl up, twirling her before dancing in circles.

This, right here, would be her future. She'd make sure of it... and maybe add a few more kids. Having children with her soulmates would fill her heart with an insurmountable amount of happiness. Her eyes grew misty imagining a few more children dancing around the kitchen with the brothers.

Elijah spotted her first, hold a hand out to her. She smiled at him, grabbing his hand. Joining the dancing pair, Sol swung her hair around crazily and laughed with Maya.

Song after song, the family danced about, singing along loudly and off-key. Maya was constantly laughing, loving the chaos of everything. She wished that this could last forever.

Jus then, Rebekah appeared and turned down the music. Everyone froze, turning to look at her and Kai. "What on earth are you doing?"

"Dancing," Sol spoke as if it was totally obvious, which it was. "Are you gonna join us?" She watched as the blond Mikaelson debated internally. In the end, Rebekah turned the music back up and danced her way over to Maya and Sol.

Kai didn't move from his spot, watching on as his soulmate danced with the younger girl. Rebekah was beaming while her eyes sparkled. He'd known since the beginning that a family of her own was something she'd wanted. It was one of the first things she said to him when they first sat down to talk about their new situation. He hadn't been too receptive at the beginning, as the bond had only just begun between the two, but watching her now... Kai began to think about the possibilities their future held.
