Sasha had graciously invited you into her home for lunch when she didn't have to. It was the least you could do, providing a small trinket of appreciation no matter the fact that it took up your whole Saturday trying to find it... Oh well. 'Good impression,' is what you would constantly remind yourself while on the hunt.

If 'friends' is even the right word. Scratch that- Who cares if they're famous? More importantly, they were your girlfriend's friends' so first impressions with all of them were vital. Of course, you wanted them to like you! Being liked is an innate human desire, but deeper than that, you wanted to feel accepted by the people who Mikasa views as her family.
