14. Diversity Pop

Chapter 14

"You are the prettiest pregnant woman i ever saw my whole life Tee rak."

Sam said as she looked at her wife from the door of their bedroom. She finished preparing a while ago and went down to get water for her still dressing wife, and when she got back, she saw a goddess in in front of the mirror, putting on a pair of diamond earrings she remembered giving her on their 2nd wedding anniversary.

"You look amazing yourself Tee rak." Mon said when she saw her wife's reflection on the mirror. Sam is wearing an elegant black pantsuit whick made her look so handsome.

Sam walked to her wife and pulled her closer giving her a peck.

"You're making me crazy right now Mrs. Anuntrakul." Mon whispered.

"As you are too Tee rak You looks so beautiful with that dress and if we stay here a little more , we might not get to the party on time." Sam said as she traced her wife's lips.

Mon smirked and gave her wife a kiss again. "But we need to be there My Love. So, shall we?"

Sam held her hand and off they went to the event.

The party doing well. Guests are arriving one by one and being ushered to their tables. Some took the opportunity to talk business or just to greet some friends. Diversity's employees are entertaining the guests as well as checking on their responsibilities and enjoying the celebration as well.

Noi and Yha are in charge of welcoming the guests.
Kirk walked to them while looking at his watch.

"Sir Kirk."

"Yha, hows the arrival of our guest?"

"Almost arrived already sir."

"Good. How about the VVIPs?"

"Both of the families are here already sir. We are just waiting for Maam Boss and Khun Sam's arrivals so we can start."

"Its ok, they are even late. People are just too excited for this event. I'll go check on some guest, you too keep an eye for any concerns tonight ok?"

"We got this Sir." Noi said with an ok sign

Kirk straighten his black suit and confidently walked into the venue. Took some time to greet people he is familiar with too and even introduced so some he is not aware of. Then he arrived to the table where Sam and Mon's families are, he bowed and greeted them.

"Hello everyone. I hope you are all enjoying."

"Everything's doing well Kirk. Seems like the party is a success already even before it is starting." Grandma commented

"All credits to Mon and the team in charge Grandma. We want to take the responsibilities from her since we don't want to stress her and Bunny out but she glared at all of us and threaten us to a month of no communication if we insist. We cant argue more with that." Kirk explained

" She is stubborn sometimes Khun Kirk, i hope you all extend your patience more especially now." Pohn asked him

" Dont worry Auntie Pohn, this is nothing compared to Sam's old mood." Kirk joked making everyone laugh.

" speaking of them, why are they not here yet? " Neung asked

Then the same time, the door of the function hall opened revealing the couple they are looking for. Sam in black, Mon in white and sporting her baby bump. Everyone's attention we caught by them as they walked in with the air of power and authority as well as elegance, grace and beauty.

The couple walked straight to their table while greeting the people they passed by. They greeted their elders first with hugs and kisses then their friends.

"i swear Mon, you are getting beautiful and beautiful every time i saw you." Neung said after giving her sister in law a hug.

"You as well Khun Neung."

"When is my wife not beautiful though? She is always beautiful and amazing Khun Neung." Sam said in a very serious voice

"And here we go again." Jim said and slapped her forehead. Their group just laughed

Mon looked at Kirk and nodded. Kirk then signaled their host to start the program. It started with the usual prayers, the national anthem, and a video presentation about the short but eventful history if Diversity Pop.

"And now lets call on the first ever administrator and head content creator of Diversity Pop, and now the Chief Executive Officer of Diversity Inc., Mrs. Kornkamon Anuntrakul. Lets give a round of applause."

Sam stood up and helped her wife walk up the stage. A smile plastered on her face, you can see how proud she is of her wife and her achievements. She kissed her wife's hand first before letting it go. Mon started her speech by welcoming everyone, then giving a short story of how diversity pop strayed, siting their achievements and thanking her employees and congratulating them for a job well done through the years.

"And i would also like to say thanks to Diversity Pop's founder, my then boss, my now wife, my Khun Sam. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to grow and learn things under your wings. Thank you for all the challenges and test you've given me, for driving me crazy and pushing me to do and create thing i haven't done before, all that made me who i am now. And thank you for supporting me and trusting me to continue your legacy. I will never disappoint you Khun Sam. Thank you and enjoy the rest of the night everyone." Mon ended her speech. Everyone gave her a standing ovation while Sam helped her walk down the make shift stage and gave her a soft kiss and a tight hug.

" I will never be disappointed with you and i am so proud of you Tee rak."

"Thank you My Love."

They went back to their table and everyone gave Mon a congratulatory hug. After that, dinner started and they all enjoyed their food. Some conversations here and there and more of the program. After all the formalities, and when their guest left, the employees started to enjoy themselves. Mon surprised her employees with a snacks and cocktail bar and a party band. Even their group of friends are enjoying.

"I think i wanna apply for work in diversity. Its more fun there than in the office!" Neung said earning a scowl from Sam who's now back hugging her wife while observing everyone from their table.

"I just want to reward them for their hard work Khun Neung. This month is so hectic for everyone especially the events team. Plus its sunday tomorrow they deserve the fun." Mon explained

"Are you two staying for the fun too?" Jim asked while holding a drink

"I want but i cant. Im starting to get sleepy actually, its past my bedtime. I dont want to stress Bunny too. You can all stay and enjoy though. Enjoy the night in my behalf." Mon said as she leaned on her wife more and yawning after. She felt more sleepy since Sam is caressing her bump, a habit she developed everytime they are together. Mon yawned again and closed her eyes.

" and thats our cue to go home. Cant let the wife sleepless." Sam then looked at Kirk. "Were leaving so you are in-charge now. And you're driving my sister home so dont drink. I want her back home in one piece."

"I know Sam. Go get you wife home, i'll take care of everything here."

They said their goodbyes and told everyone to enjoy the rest of the night.
