21. Baby Shower

Chapter 21

Mon's POV

"Dada, come!" i called Sam's attention. Its still early and she's preparing to go to work while I'm in the nursery and reading some baby books when our little girl here started to dance like crazy.

Sam came in holding her phone, ready to take a video of Bunny's insane movements inside my tummy. She lobes to document everything her daughter is involved with and i guess me too?

"Is she jumping around in there? Are you feeling uncomfortable Mami?"

"Nope, its normal Love. Dont worry. But i dont really know what she is doing in there now. Remember what P'Fah said? On these month, Bunny can lift her head or move her arms and legs. The music is on too so i guess she's dancing?"

"Just be careful and slow Bunny, we still need Mami's organs to be safe and complete ok?" Sam said as she pat her daughter.

"My organs really Samanun?"

Sam just laughed.

"I really got nervous everytime you call me that Tee rak. The whole fiasco in the company weeks ago would flashed back everytime you call my name in full."

I just laughed at her too. Good thing its all ok with the company now. People involved are now facing their crimes according to the law. They are legaly charged and now facing there sentence. Not all the money are back but at least they recovered some from the people involved.

Im also on my maternity leave for a week now. Sam forced me actually since i still insist in going to work. That leads to my parents and grandma ganging up to convince me and i can't say no to them so i don't have a choice but to agree which made Sam the happiest.

"Are you ready? I'm sure Mae and Phaw are already excited already."

Im going to my parents home today and Sam is driving me there before going to work.

"Im sure they are. Don't forget about the lunch later."

"How can i? I missed Mae's food too. So im not missing this chance. Now come, we need to go now. I have a meeting by 10am. Pri's sending me messages about my schedule already."

"She's great with her job."

"The audacity of that girl to boss me around. She's just lucky you are backing her up." Sam said giving a good laugh.

We said goodbye to our house helps and drive off to my parents. Ran is with us by the way. By the time we reached there, my parents are already out to meet us.

"Mae! Phaw!"

"My baby. How are you feeling?"

"Great Mae. Bunny's going heavier each day but im glad she's healthy."

"And how about you Sam?"

"Im doing well Mae. And i hope you two are too."

"We are fine dear. Don't worry about us."

Sam checked her watch again. "I need to go now Tee rak."

"Yes you should Love or Pri will murder you when you arrive late." we just smiled at each other's silliness.

"Wait for a while Sam. I made you breakfast." Mae rushed inside the house.

"Breakfast?"

"She actually expected that you're not staying long before going since Mon mentioned about coming home early coz of your meeting, so she decided to pack you breakfast you can eat in the office."

"She doesn't need to but who am i to refuse Mae's food?" Sam said with a grin.

"And i wont accept no for an answer, my child."
