Chapter 58 - Puppy

Sam's POV

Its been some days since i've known the good news. I'm pregnant ! Im so happy and so as Mon and our extended family.

Flashback

"Im pregnant! Puppy's coming in 3 months!" I announced. We are having a group video call with our friends right after i felt fine to do so.

Cries of cheers and excitement is what we heard froms everyone. Mon, whos seated beside me smiled but with teary eyes.

"I love you." she whispered.

"i love you too Mami."

"My goodness! So thats why Sam's mood is so unpredictable months before! She even refused to see or meet me but she would eat and drink the snacks i brought with me. I thought she's just on her red days so i just let her!" Kirk gasped making us all laugh

"Ow and i want to tell her this but im afraid she would bite me off it. But she's 's so weird those months!"

"and her mood swings is too much. We haven't said anything to you Mon but she's like a terror and strict teacher these days. The interns looks so lost and panicking when she's around! My goodness Samanun!" Neung added

"Love?!" Mon looked at Sam

"Its my pregnancy hormones!" Sam retorted that made everyone just sighed

"And whats crazy is you still need to encounter that Sam for 3 more months. Goodluck Khun Neung." Tee teased.

"Regarding that, we decided to start my maternity leave as soon as she left the hospital. We filed it already and Neung with Mon's help will take over my office. Its for Puppy's safety. I'll still work but just limited to signing papers and important matters." i announced which they all agreed

"I think thats understandable Sam. As what you've said, its for you and Puppy's safety so just take it easy and enjoy the remaining months of your pregnancy."

END OF FLASHBACK

My pregnancy is still a high risk one but were all glad Puppy is healthy and striving. With strict diet, safety and precaution added with my maternity suppliments, the doctors assured us of Puppy's safe 3 months and delivery.

Mon being Mon is way more protective than i am during her pregnancy. If she could do everything for me, she will even if I assure her that i can still manage some tasks.

Mae, Phaw and Grandma are the same too.

But im happy cause everyone's happy and excited for Puppy. The only one we haven't talk and informed yet is our little girl. And here comes our little Bunny.

"Hi Bun. I missed you!"

I hugged my baby girl as soon as Mon put her beside me. I've been in bed rest for 3 days already and my doctor gave us a go signal to received visitors and the first one i ask is my daughter.

"I missed you Dada!" Bunny hugged me and she nuzzled deeply to neck. "I'm sorry Dada!"

The next thing we knew, Bunny is already crying so hard. She must have been feeling so bad for what happened to me and add to it the fact that this three days is the longest we haven't seen each other. I missed her so much and i know she felt the same too. I hugged her tight and rubbed her back. I let her cry and calm herself before talking to her.

"Hey Bun. Listen to Dada ok?" she gave me a short nod before i continue "Dada is not mad my sweetie-Bun. And see, Dada is ok now. All i need is rest. So no need to cry now my love. Dada wants my Bunny's smiles so no crying again ok?"
