Chapter 52 - Discipline

"Bun, stay here with Auntie Pri ok? Dada will just talk to some people then were off to see Mami. Wait for Dada ok?"

"Yes Dah!" my girl enthusiastically responded.

Bun is with me today. We are supposed to be at home, spending the morning of my day off together when Pri called about sudden paperworks i need to sign. Since i am here already, i decided to sit in the meeting with the Marketing team.

Its been 3 months since Flynn was born. He is the new apple of the eye of the family and everyone loves giving him the attention he deserves to have. We often visit him too since Bunny loves him very much that sometimes she would ask us to let her sleep over Neung and Freddie's place.

"Behave with Auntie Pri, ok?" i looked at my secretary and she just smiked as she held Bunny's hand. These two are inseparable whenever Bunny is here. Even Mon trust our daughter in Pri's watch as she knew Pri live sour girls like her own neice. "Call me if she started being fuzzy."

"Dont worry My Lady, young miss and i will just enjoy coloring here."

"I have new coloring books Auntie Pri!"

"Ow really? Let's color it then!"

I left the two of them in my office and went to the meeting room.

We're almost done with the meeting when the door opened revealing Pri with my crying daughter. I immediately spring out of my chair and took her from Pri's arms. Everyone is silent, only Bunny's cries is heard.

I sat down and put her in my lap. I then checked on her arms and legs and her face and head in case she fell but i saw nothing. Thank goodness she's fien and safe!

"What happened?" i worriedly asked Pri who's now looking pale, im syre she's scared now too.

"Im sorry My Lady. We are coloring when the telephone rings, i let her color for a while and answered it when i heard a loud crushing sound. I rushed to see her and saw the vase broken, she started crying when i called her. I might have scared her. Im sorry my lady." Pri explained.

I remembered that i put the vase away the moment we entered my office this morning. I put it on a higher part of the cabinet and told her not to touch it. I sighed and excused ourselves from the meeting and went to my office. We then found the maintenance people cleaning up the mess my daughter created.

I waited for them to finish and thank them for their work. I then put Bunny down and let her face me. She is now calm but still teary.

"What happened Sunaree? Dada said not to touch the vase this morning right?" i asked her. She immediately looked down and cried.

"I am talking to you Sunaree. Look at me." i calmly but coldly said. The tone i use when i discipline her.

"I-im s-sorry D-dada!" she burst out crying. I want to hug her and console her but i can't. I dont want her to think that everything she did, may it be right or wrong is fine with me. I might be the cool parent between Mon and I but i still want her to know that i will not tolerate something as bad as misbehaving and not following the rules i set for her. She needs to know that we will never tolerate wrong doing in this family.

"Crying will not do you any good this time Sunaree Anuntrakul. I told you to behave and you clearly didn't." she cried so hard this time.
