27. Meeting The FAM

Chapter 27

"How are you feeling?" Sam asked as soon as Fah and her team left.

"Tired but happy. You?"

"I don't think if i have the right to be tired after all that happened to you but yes im very happy too. Im still on cloud nine actually. She's beautiful Mon, our little Bunny is perfect."

"She is our daughter after all My Love. Don't you think its a given already?" Mon smirked amidst the tiredness and hard work in pushing their little Bunny out of this world.

"Aren't you too proud of us Tee rak?" Sam chuckled

"I'm just stating the truth My Love. We made a very pretty human being and im proud of that." Mon whispered, sleep taking over her body.

"Go to sleep my Mami. Thank you for everything, i love you."

"I love you too Dada." Mon said

Sam occupied the rocking chair beside Mon's bed. She reached out and held her wife's hand and decided to take the nap. With the loss of adrenaline after tonight's events, sleep conquered Sam's tired body too.

Fah opened the door, pushing a bassinet with a little  Bunny inside. Sam being the light sleeper opened her eyes upon the sound of the door closing. She looked at her wife sleeping peacefully so she let go of her wife's hand, arranged her blanket, and kissed her before checking their daughter.

"Can you wake up Mon? Bunny needs her first feeding." Fah instructed.

Sam moved to wake her wife up by kissing her gently.

"Mami?"

"Hmmm? Dada? Is Bunny back?" Mon asked as she roamed her eyes around.

"Yes Tee rak. She is quite hungry too Mami."

"She is? Then let's feed our little Bun."

A nurse raised the bed to help Mon sit comfortably. Sam adjusted her pillow too. Fah opened up Mon's clothes revealing some skin, Sam raised an eyebrow upon seeing what the doctor is doing.

"Put that raised brow down Sam, this is important for your daughter. Were all medical professionals here. Skin to skin contact has good benefits for both mother and baby. So stop being  jealous and hold Mon's clothes, I'll help her hold Bunny." Fah scolded Sam which made Mon chuckle.

" Stop laughing Tee rak. Im not jealous." she said as she walked to take over Fah.

"I didn't say anything!" Mon said

"But your look says otherwise." Sam answered.

"always the protective and possessive one Sam." Fah answered as she removed Bunny's clothes leaving only her diapers.

Fah then put Bunny in Mon's arms and with the nurse's and Fah's help and guidance, Mon successfully feed their little one her first milk. Mon would grimace from now and then but after smiled while looking at the little hungry baby she is holding. Sam is just looking at her wife and child frozen from where she is standing at

"Dada?" Mon asked for Sam "Are you ok?"

Fah just chuckled and pushed Sam to sit beside Mon. Sam recovered back and kissed their baby's head, then Mon when she saw her looking at her smiling. Sam's tears started to blur her sight again.

"I don't know what happened in my past life for giving me the two of you but im not going to complain. Not ever. Thank you for coming into my life Tee rak, and thank you for giving me our little Bunny. Thank you for our little family. I love you." Sam said and kissed her wife again.
