Chapter 57 - What?!

Mon's POV

"Please not my wife. Please." i whispered.

"Mon please relax. She'll be fine." Yuki said as she held my arm.

I just looked at her and back at the door of the emergency room. I covered my face with my hands and resumed walking back and forth again.

Everything happened in a blur. We are in the kitchen busy yet enjoying preparing food for our whole group when we heard panic voices calling from the play area. We rushed there to check on them and my eyes met my wife's. She looked down and my eyes followed where she's looking. And there i saw blood running down her thighs. I rushed to her side just right before she passed out and next thing i know,  Kirk is carrying her and we all rush to the hospital. It happened all of the sudden and all i can remember during the car rides is me whispering 'Its going to be alright' to Sam's unconcious form while holding her tight.

"Mami? Im sorry..." im now back to the present when i felt my daughter hugging my legs while cying. My heart felt pain when i saw my baby girl's worried form.

I immediately stopped crying, knelt down and envelope her in my arms. "Stop crying baby. Its not your fault sweetie-bun." i said as i calmed her down. I need to be calm and strong for my little girl too.

"Dada fell because of Bunny. Sorry Mami!!!" she cried so loud. I hugged her tighter as i kissed her tears away.

"Bun, listen to Mami, ok? Dada's strong right?" she nodded in answer. "We dont know what happened yet but im sure Dada will never blame you ok? Its an accident sweetheart."

"But..."

"Not buts Sunaree. Dada loves you so much and im sure Dada will wake up soon. And she will give you lots and lots of hugs and kisses. We will wait for her to be awake ok?"

My little Bunny nodded and i hugged her. I then carried her and she immediately put her head on my neck. I then saw my parents as well as grandma approaching and they hugged me and Bunny.

"Everything's going to be fine Mon. Im sure Sam will be ok. She loves you two so much and im sure she will do everything to go back to you." Grandma said as she caressed Bunny's head.

"i hope so Grandma. I hope so."

Were all silently waiting outside the emergency room when the door opened. We immediately approached teh doctor

"Your grace, Lady Samanun is now stable. We will transfer her to her assigned room. A nurse will be here in a moment to escort you. We'll meet you there." the doctor then bowed and went back inside the ER.

I felt like the whole world that im carrying is now gone upon hearing the word stable and Sam's name in one sentence. I thanked Buddha and every other god i called and prayed for my wifes safety. I then huged my now sleeping daughter and kissed her head. "I told you Bun, Dada's strong." I finally said and cried.

We all are escorted to Sam's VVIP room. She is not yet here so i checked on everything first after i put Bunny on the couch. Mae and Phaw immediately looked after their grandkid. While Grandma and Neung is busy talking to the hospital staff, probably giving them instructions and protocols.

"Our friends went home already. They want Sam and us to be comfortable first for now. They will visit tomorrow. Do you want anything? Fred and i wil go and buy food for us here while waiting for Sam to wake up." Neung said
