MON'S POV
"Who's pregnant?" i asked agian. I might be hearing wrong now since im still sleep deprived coz of our early market escapades.
"You? Are you?" Jim asked me again.
"Me?"
"Yes! You?" Yuki answered and asked
"No!"
"WHAT???" Everyone uttered in disbelief
"Im not pregnant you people! Who told you that?"
That might be 6 months ago but i know it still affects Sam, even me actually so we dont really talk about it for now. I want us to heal from the disappointment before we do the process again and its me who's going to cardy our child as planned.
"You've been acting strange lately. Even your employees can point changes in you. You're back to your sleepy moments, your addiction to fruits and even your senses are a bit higer than normal." Kirk stated that surprised me actually.
"Ok first of all having naps in the office coz i lately am busy with preparing Bunny's breakfasts and snacks coz she likes to request something from me nowadays and i cant just say no to her. I would wake up at 4 in the morning just to cook her food. Second, im always addicted to fruits! Im even trying some fruits that are not from Thailand. And about what happened in the office, i knew they ordered food coz i heard P'Yha ordering it when i went to the marketing department earlier and hello, the smell of food is covering the whole office. So yes, im not pregnant." I explained.
I then felt Sam's hold on me tightens
"She's not pregnant coz i did the procedure this time." Sam said earning everyone's attention to her. I can even saw our friends jaw dropped.
"Y---yo---you???" Neung tried to ask
"Oh my god! Oh god! Oh!!!" Jim said as if convulsing. "You!"
"Ow my goodness congratulations!"
"Congrats you Mommies!"
"Another baby for the Anuntrakuls!"
Everyone cheered. I looked at Sam and she just smiled. I then nods at her and tighten my hold on her hand.
"But the procedure failed..."
All of our friends stopped cheering and looked at Sam. Everyone gapped at what they heard. Neung immediately came to kneel in form of her sister.
"Sam..." i can see sadness and worry in Khun Neung's face as she looked at Sam.
"Hey. It's fine. Its ok now. Form the start of the procedure, the doctor told us the risks since im not as young as Mon here. Im ready for the worst actually so ita kinda easy for us to accept the negative result." Sam the. Looked at me and started playing woth my hand. "I, im ready for its failure but yes, it still hurts to hear it. But Mon and I, you know we're a team right? We move don from it and decided to do another hopefully before this year ends? We're just getting ourselves ready for the next procedure. And we hope this time, Bunny will have a sibling soon."
They all gathered and gave us a group hug.
"Hey, im so proud of you two. You are such strong people. We're just here Mon, Sam. We are always here for you two and Reen." Jim said
