40 - Panic

"You cute Bun-bun!"

I smiled and look at the toddler and the infant on the play mat we laid in the center of my office.

"Meg, be gentle with your Nong."

"Yes Ta-tam!" the older girl giggled as she carressed the now 6 month old Bunny's face.

"Ok, play with Bunny for a while then we'll get your favorite food lunch."

"Mcdonalds?" the girl asked with a puppy eyes. Something she knew, in this young life of her, that i cant ever refuse.

"Yes if only you are a good girl." Megan's face lighten with excitement.

You might be asking why i am here, alone and left with two girls under 4? I started this morning.....

Flashback:

"Love?" Mon entered Sam's office with Bunny in her arms.

"Mami? What are you doing here? I thought you'll be home? Its your day off today right?"

"I thought so too Ma, but grandma called and asked me to join her in her charity drive."

"And she just called today?"

"Just some minutes ago actually. Neung mentioned to her that its my off so she called me. You know i cnat say no to her right? Plus its for the children too. I dont want to bring Bunny coz its a bit crowded in there. Can Bunny stay here until were finished? Ran is here anyways. She'll take care of everything." Mon said as she passed Bunny to her wife.

"Of course. Bunny can always stay with Mama. Dont worry, just finish your appointment with Grandma, i'll take care of her."

Mon kissed and hugged her wife and daughter before letting go.

"I'll be back as soon as we're finished. I love you two so much. See you later." Mon said and left.

Sam just looked at her daughter and gave her  smooches. "Its you and me again princess. Go to auntie Ran first Bun-bun, Mama needs to finish this then we will have a date later. Ran, you can put her play mat here so you can just let her play with her toys."

Ran immediately unfolds Bunny's play mat then Sam put her down, gave her a bunny stuffie and kissed her again before going back to her work. She would look at her daughter in between her work and then smile. Its an automatic response for her and Mon. They always love to look at their daughter.

Another hour passed and a knock took Sam's attention from the piece of paper she is reading. She looked at her daughter first and saw her om her tummy busy kicking and reaching on something.

The door opened to reveal Jim and Megan.

"Bunny!" the girl the rushed and lay down to level her eyes to the busy baby.  "P'Meg is here, Bun-bun." Megan said as she gently held the baby's little hand.

"Hi Bunny. Auntie Jim missed you baby girl." Jim lovingly stroked the girls head and cooed her more.

"Whay brought you too here?" Sam asked
