Chapter 23

Mon's POV

"Happy 8th month my bunny!"

Yes Bunny's on her 8th month already. And yes i am looking at my reflection on the mirror again. Its been a month since my maternity leave and i really thought i will get bored but nothing like that happened. I still do and sign paper works that P'Yah would bring to me or do visit the office from time to time.

Our friends would visit me especially P'Jim. She would come twice a week with Megan, not that im complaining though, i love having Megan here. P'Jim helped me complete and organize my hospital bag, her and Mae actually. They are all helpful to me and Sam. Even Grandma and Khun Neung would come to stay and talk to me for hours too. But during the times when im alone, i would spend it with reading, listening to music and telling bunny stories about her Dada and I or some stories about my childhood. I tell her stories about our family and friends too. P'Fah said these activities helped with Bunny's development so i like to do things like this to her.

How about my wife?

Sam is still the doting wife and mother. She's very protective of me especially now that i entered my 8th month of pregnancy already. She still do that night time routine and bed time stories with Bunny, she's very attentive too. She even asked the complete list of what my hospital bag should consist from P'Fah. She completed the nursery already and even ask Auntie Kwan to contact a cleaning and disinfection team to get the house clean and baby ready for Bunny's arrival. Good thing they asked me first before doing Sam's instructions. So i told them that we will contact them for another time. One time i saw her checking on some educational plans, see how advanced my wife is? But its so cute and i don't have the heart to stop her so i just let her do whatever she wanted.

"Mami you ready?" she asked me. She just came out of our bathroom dressed with her workout clothes. We are up early for my morning walk.

"Yes Love."

"Is she dancing around again?" she said and kissed my clothed belly.

"Nope, she's strangely behaved actually i think she's still asleep..." i stopped mid sentence when i felt our bunny kick, not a strong one though but i know Sam felt it too since she laughed and rubbed my belly.

"And she objects." my wife grinned

"Bunny's behaving well then." i just added and gently tapped my belly.

"Lets go."

Sam took my hand and we went out. I saw Ran waiting for us.

"Why is Ran here?"

"She's going with us Mami." Sam said and opened the car's door for me

"Huh?"

"Were going somewhere. That's why i woke you up earlier than usual. Change of scenery is good for you. So, shall we?"

I just smiled and agreed. We drove all the way to the park. There's not that many people since its still early, just those who are jogging and walking just like us. While Sam and I are warming up, Ran is busy setting up a picnic mat.
