Chapter 16

"Sam! " a loud voice welcomed her as she went out of the car. She gave the welcoming party a wave then rushed to open up the car for her wife. "Mon! Omg, you look so lovely!"

"P'Risa! It's been so long!" Mon happily greeted the older with a hug as they approached them.

"Nice to see you again Mon." Cher

"Nice to see you P'Cher. Omg, is this our happy boy already? You grew up so fast Rune."

Rune is Risa and Cher's son through adaption. He is now 1 year old and the couple's pride and joy. He is indeed a very happy boy as he clapped his little hands and smiled at his Aunty Mon.

" How about you two go ahead?" Cher said while giving Rune to Risa. "I'll help Sam with their things, and you two go and entertain Rune there?"

"Cher is right. Lets get you some refreshing drinks, we prepared sliced fruits that you love the most." Risa added

Mon looked back at Sam, checking on her too.

"Go ahead Tee rak. We'll get the bags in our room then we'll find you after. Order me an iced coffee too." Sam said as she pulled another bag out of the trunk.

"Ok, follow us immediately Love. I'll order what you want."

Mon and Risa left with Rune while Sam and Cher are busy with the bags.

"Your resort is getting successful but you cant still hire another help here?" Sam said

"Hey! I can do things myself plus who in the world would bring lots of things on a 5 day trip? Are you two planning to stay for a month?" Cher said as she pulled the last of the 4 large bags the couple brought

"only one of that is mine. Two is for Mon and the last bag is some presents she brought for you and Rune so stop complaining." Sam said and closed the car, Cher playfully glaring at her.

"You'll stay on one of the over-water bungalows. Risa insisted since its the newest addition to the resort. Follow me."

"Ok... Ok..."

While the two alphas are strolling, Mon and Risa are already started their chat.

"Omg, when i saw your Instagram post telling the world about the baby, i pushed Cher out of the bed in excitement. How far along are you?"

"Im about to enter my 22nd week. I saw your comment too. Thanks Phi."

"You don't need to. Im just so happy for the two of you. And thanks for inviting us and again sorry for not coming on Diversity Pop's anniversary celebration, Rune suddenly got sick."

"No worries P'Risa, we understand. Plus we should prioritize this cutie's health. He looks so cute Phi." Mon said while slightly pinching the boy's chubby face.

"Cute but very hyper too Mon. He cant stop walking around and bumping into everything. He's as hyper as Cher, i tell you." Mon laughed at Risa's sentiments.

"But he seems calm now Phi. Is he really that hyper?"

"Maybe coz he's still shy Mon. But this little devil is like a hurricane when he wants too." Cher joined their conversation. He just arrived with Sam after delivering the bags.

"You iced coffee Love." Mon said and handed Sam her order.

"Thanks Tee rak. Look at this boy, you cozy there bud?"

Rune just gave Sam a smile then motioned himself to picked up. Sam, who's already used to this from baby sitting Megan took the boy on her arms and kissed his chubby cheeks.
