CHAPTER 47
It was a short ride, si Maxim na rin mismo ang sumundo sa akin. Mabait ito gwapo at mayaman but he really is not my type.“Hey pretty, how are you?” lumapit ito at hinalikan ako sa pisngi.
“I’m fine Max, so how is your stay here in Manila?” tanong ko sa kanya nasa loob na kami ng kanyang sasakyan.
“I like Manila, but I hate the traffic.” Asar niyang sabi.
“Yeah the usual, but we can go to the beach if you want to 3 days’ vacation is that okay with you? Suhestiyon ko sa kanya.
“I’m not really fan of beaches but if you insist why not.” Tugon nito.
I arrived at Manila at 3 in the afternoon and Maxim manage to hire a private plane to Palawan.
“Here is the card for your room Nazneen, just enjoy our stay.”
“Of course, it’s been a while since we went out for a vacation it is nice having you here Maxim. Just call me if you need something, between the two of us mas alam ko ang Pilipinas kaysa sayo.”
He smirked and said “alam ko.”
I kept on thinking aalis na lang ako after this, I will disappear in their lives for real magpapakalayo-layo na lang ako.
“Sweetie how are you? Have made up your mind? I’ll book you a ticket to Switzerland na don’t worry hindi ito alam ni dad. Okay na rin ang bahay na titirahan no one can trace you after this, but don’t ever lie to me okay?”
Mas okay ang plano ni kuya and besides marami siyang kakilala doon na pwede kong lapitan he even planned on making me one of the legal attorney of one oh his company under different name.
“Wake up, I already ordered breakfast and reserved seat in the restaurant, bumaba na ikaw ha.”
Natatawa pa rin ako sa accent at pananagalog ni Maxim he is trying too hard.
“Oo na bababa na po kamahalan.”
Nagdress na lang ako , under it was a black bikini. Hindi pa naman kita ang baby bump.
“so how was your sleep? Mom and I were finalizing the details of our wedding. May gusto ka bang idagdag?”
As soon as I heard the word wedding, I froze, hindi pa alam ni Maxim ang Estado ko ngayon and I have no intention of telling him. Maxim knows how I love seafood pero pagkakita ko pa lang sa food ay nasusuka na ako.
“heyyy what’s wrong? You don’t like the food? But its your favorite.”
Napailing na lamang ito.
“I’ll have the Filipino breakfast na lang garlic rice sana yung maraming bawang thankyou.”
Right after that naglakad lakad kami ni Maxim sa dalampasigan may mga waterpark at activity na pwedeng gawin pero bawal naman. We decided to island hop, Maxim rented a boat just for us agaw pansin din ito sa mga babae dahil sa taglay nitong kakisigan.
“Heyy hottie.”
“You know that I’m not interested Nazneen. And besides I have you.” Hawak pa niya sa aking mukha.
At this point alam kong mahal talaga ako ng lalaking to kahit noong una pay sinabihan ko na siya. If not for business talagang ayoko na ring makita si Maxim.
“Maxim, uhmmm.”
“yes?” sagot nito.
“ughh wala nauuhaw lang ako.” I lied.
He smiled and offered me a bottle of water. Over all nanging masaya naman ang island hoping naming. Meanwhile in Ilocos.

“Simon do you have any idea where is Nazneen” tanong ni Sandro sa kapatid niyang busy sap ag-lalaro.
With that NAG-OOVERTHINK naman ang gago,in his mind what if Simon was right I’m not gonna let it happen.
“What brought you here?” mataray nitong tanong.
“Uhhmm kuya I just want to ask have seen Kai” kabado nitong tanong.
“ I DON’T KNOW, and if alam ko naman bakit ko sasabihin ano ka ba niya?”
Sandro was taken back by his answer, “UHMM SORRY BUT ID NEED TO KNOW IF WHERE IS SHE, FOR GOD SAKE ALEXANDER GIRLFRIEND KO ANG KAPATID MO”
“Really? Alexander said in an insulting manner.“Tell me where she is please.” Nagmamakaawang usal nito.
“Geez Sandro, stop it will you umuwi kana asikasuhin mo ang pangangam panya mo huwag ang kapatid ko.”
“Sandro, Anak umuwi kana. We have something to talk hurry up Sandro.”
With a heavy heart umalis ito sa bahay nina Kai.
