HIS POV
FRIDAY
I couldn't sleep last night
I was just too excited for today's match
Gia's coming to watch me and cheer me on
god, my heart starts to race just at a thought of it
but today's main event will be getting my revenge on Caleb and his team
hundreds of different tactics were running through my head when I heard the sound of someone yelling my name
I stopped skating around the ice rink and noticed that Isaac arrived
"hey dude" he said as he came closer
I skated up to the exit and rested my hands on the fence of the rink
"hey"
"you okay? you seem on edge"
"yeah just feeling a little adrenaline before a match"
"are others already here?"
"no I'm the only one"
Since we got scolded by the coach the last time we were late on a match day I decided to come here early today
"okay I'll go get changed and join you then" he said as he walked away, heading to the changing room
I left the rink and walked to the bench
I searched through my bag and after a while I finally found my phone
I checked to see if Gia replied to any of my messages
a smile creeped on my face when I saw her name on my screen
GIA <3: "I'll be at the rink around 8am"
I looked at the time
it was currently 7.50am
just a few more minutes
I could just left her on read but I wanted to talk to her some more
ME: "should I save you some good seats?"
It's not like the place wasn't completely empty but I had no other idea what to text
seconds passed by as I just stared at my phone, waiting for her text
she finally replied after what felt like eternity
GIA <3: "that'd be great"
ME: "okay, I'll get right to it"
"hey man, you ready to warm up?" I heard Isaac ask
I looked up from my phone and saw him standing before me
"yeah just give me a minute"
I took a hoodie out of my bag and walked up to the tribunes
now where would the best seat be?
