Chapter 19

HIS POV

TUESDAY

Just a few more minutes and I get to see Gia again

Ever since yesterday I can't help but burst out with joy at a thought of her

'I suppose so'

those three words made me realise that she's starting to warm up to me

no matter how hard she tries to hide it, I can see right through it. I can tell that I'm starting to grow on her

so yesterday was basically one of the best days I had this year

and I also got to meet her parents. They're both such loving people just like her

Having dinner with them made me realise how much I've missed being surrounded by someone that I can call 'family'

At first I was nervous. I was afraid that they might not like me or think of me as good enough

but all my worries were unnecessary

I can't wait to meet them again. I've been staying in contact with Liz, Gia's mom

she sent me dozens of messages, all involving questions regarding my relationship with Gia

I get it, she's her mom and she wants answers but I definitely didn't misjudged her when I called her persistent yesterday

I just simply told her that we're taking it slow and that I'm not trying to pressure Gia

However, I didn't mention our bet

I'm so happy that she agreed to it

I feel like we'll finally be able to clear out the whole situation between us on that date

so therefore I need to take this very seriously

I spent about good 3 hours just studying yesterday after I got back to the dorms

and I'm planning on studying more today in the evening

Basically, I'm going to study until I drop dead; because I'll be damned if I let this opportunity slide

that reminds me, I need to start planning the whole thing
