Chapter 21

Han's pov
I took my seat next to my parents all the princes and our parents were here even chan and changbin hyung...i could understand why binie is here since he is my cousin but chan hyung...it is weird how he is always close to hyunjin and the queen, I know he grow up with him and they are like brothers but still...he was sitting on the queen's left looking down his lap...what is his deal?
"so prince yang...my son send me a letter telling me about what happened...i wanted to tell you that what your uncle is going is not acceptable according to our council rules" my dad said...the current king and queen of each kingdom are a part of a council it is was made to discuss things like this to try and keep balance and peace between us...if it wasn't for the council the fire and water kingdoms would have been in war...

"you have the support of the water kingdom son" queen hwang said smiling at him.
"and the fire too " queen lee said after her....you could feel the tension between the two women.
"thank you your highnesses" jeongin said.
"prince yang could you tell use more about the details, what did the prime minister say exactly" my mom asked the boy.
"well, he said that I won't be a good fit for the throne and it would be better if I let my uncle take over..."
"he even dared to say that he will take over whether he liked it or not"I said feeling angry remembering that man's words...who he thinks he is..."God even remembering what happened makes me angry"I added shaking my head.
"let's not go ahead of ourselves, I suggest that we send some representative to the air kingdom to see what is happening" the fire king said.

"I agree"my dad said nodding his head.
"your father is still alive jeongin, everything will be okay...he won't do anything" queen hwang said smiling at the boy,
"thank you again...i wouldn't have known what to do if it wasn't for you...and you too hyung thank you"he said looking at me, I ruffled his hair making him smile.
"so how is the new couple doing?" my father asked making me freeze.
"we are fine" I answered giving him a fake smile.
"great..."
My father stopped when the fire king started coughing out of nowhere.
"dad are you okay?"minho said standing up, felix doing the same
"yeah...i am...don't worry, a little cold"the old man said between his coughs...he looks kind of pale if I may say, and why didn't he have cold when he was here last time?

"I think we should end the meeting for now...i will keep you updated" my dad said his eyes not leaving the king who had his family around him, the first one who stood up was hyunjin he just left without saying anything.
"I will take my leave now...i hope you feel good soon king lee" queen hwang said going after her son, chan hyung bowed before he left too...

Minho's pov
I watched as hyunjin leave without saying anything, I have been watching him the whole time...damn it I just keep thinking...what if han is right? What if I won't be able to forget about my feelings for him? Yet even if I am love him, he won't feel the same...why did this happen to me?
"I will go to rest...have a great day seongjin" my dad said to han's father.
"I will help you..."
"no need felix go be with your husband...minho follow me"he said making me frown...what did I do now?
"yes father" I replied helping him out we walked toward my room silently, my mom stayed with han's parents for some reason, so it left me and my father alone....i think the earth couple knows about my dad's sickness.

"dad"I said after I saw him lay back on the bed closing his eyes.
"yes"he answered.
"did you tell han's parents about your condition?"I asked making him hum.
"I did last time we met..."he replied making me nod" minho, are you ready to take over?"he added making me gulp.
I don't know...am I ready? It is not the fact that I see myself as incapable of ruling but when it is the fact when that time comes it means that my father is no longer with us...i can't imagine losing...i can't even think about it...i know there is nothing we can do but he is my father...i just can't think about it.
"dad, you are still..."
"I hate it too minho...believe me I hate it...i want to be with you...i want to see you get married....i want to see your kids...i want a lot of things but the harsh truth is that I am dying and it is going to happen sooner or later, I want to see felix happy that's why I agreed on the marriage between jisung and him...the earth prince loves your brother...i won't think about anyone better for him to marry"he said making my eyes goo wide...
