Chapter 3 - The Party

Music blared from the house as Ethan walked up the driveway, he could hear JJ's monkey yells from inside and Harry's sudden girlish scream triggering loud laughter. Ethan let himself into the house and slowly closed the door behind him, looking around. The others were probably in the sitting room.

Suddenly, Simon ran out of the living room and yelled, "Buddy!" He hugged Ethan tightly, cuddling into his shoulder. "Hey!" Ethan laughed as he hugged Simon back, savouring every moment. He wanted to close his eyes, to move his hands down Simon's back and whisper his feelings to him. He always wanted to, but he couldn't; so he had to always mask his want the hundreds of times Simon hugged him.

"Hey, hey!" Josh yelled as he walked into the hallway. "The Emon reunion was cute, but this is a party, not a romantic movie." Simon ignored Josh and grabbed hold of Ethan's hand. "Come on, everyone's here, we've been waiting for you." He led Ethan to the sitting room and as he did Ethan couldn't help but smile at Simon's touch. His hands felt soft and caring. Ethan only fell more in love with Simon.

"Yooo!" Harry yelled as they entered the room, grabbing Ethan's neck and pulling him into a bear hug. Ethan gasped for air. "Love... you... too... man. Now... fuck... off." He wheezed. Harry released him, laughing. "Eyyyy! Its gayboy!!" JJ laughed as he drank a beer. "JJ, you're already drunk and the party's just started!" Simon moaned as he pulled the beer out of JJ's hand. "Ohh, come on man! Let's just have fun!" Harry said as he downed a beer. Simon shook his head but grinned at Ethan who smiled back. He was hurt by JJ's comment but the bitch was drunk, and Simon tried to cover it so Ethan decided to forget it. Anyways, the whole squad was at this party, and he hadn't been to one in a long time, so he was going to enjoy this one.

Hours of screaming and jumping around went by. All of them had completely tired themselves out by doing weird, dance Nerf battles and weird dance battles. Tobi had a dance battle with a drunk JJ who really just walked around breaking things. When it was Vikk's turn to take the spotlight the usual Indian song was put on. Weller did shots after shots ending up completely shattered. Cal and Sarah decided to take him back to Cal's apartment where he was staying over. Josh, Simon, Ethan and Vikk played Fifa and the odd board game due to Vikk's requests. Harry, JJ and Calfreezy chatted around, drinking and occasionally randomly screaming.

"Hey JJ." Harry slurred, leaning in his shoulder.

"What's up man?" JJ slurred back.

"All of us are drunk. Well, us two, the Cal's and Weller are. Vikk, Josh, Tobi and Simon have had a few drinks but Ethan hasn't had anything."

"Where's Cal and Sarah?"

"They took Weller home because he was well drunk."

"You sure they just don't wanna get it on?" JJ laughed.

"I don't know." Harry chuckled. "But the point is, we need to get Ethan to have some fun, remember what happened last time when he got drunk?"

"He shat himself." JJ giggled, "that's why he stopped drinking."

"Yeah." Harry laughed as he remembered the incident.

"Yo, I got this man..." JJ gave Harry a sly look while slowly revealing a bottle of pills. Harry gave JJ a confused look. "Ecstasy." JJ whispered. Harry gave a shocked yet amused look back to JJ. They both started laughing. "Mate, he is getting shitfaced tonight!"
