Chapter 16 - A New Date

"Do you like it?" Simon asked as Ethan held up the top. "I love it, thank you Simon." He leaned forward and kissed Simon on the cheek. "I got your parents some stuff as a thank you gift for letting me stay here for the last couple of days." Simon said as he crossed his legs. "You didn't have to." Ethan said as he put the top back in the bag and snuggled under the duvet. He reached his arm out to Simon and whimpered for his boyfriend to sleep next to him. Simon chuckled and laid down next to him, wrapping his arms around Ethan's waist and spooning him.

"You know we have to get up? I have a whole day planned for us." Simon spoke into Ethan's hair. "No! Why? It's not a special day or anything. I just wanna sleep." Ethan moaned as he buried himself into the bed even more. "I know, I just wanna treat you that's all. And every day is special as long as I'm with you." Simon replied. "Aww, I know bae. But can we sleep for a bit?" Ethan said in a high pitched voice. "Ok. But only for 10 mins." Simon replied, sighing. "Thank you bae." Ethan happily replied.

Ethan closed his eyes, feeling himself drift into a slumber. Then he heard something weird, he opened his eyes and continued listening. "Simon... Are you sniffing my hair?" He quietly asked. "Ummm... No?"

Ethan turned around to meet a blushing Simon who smirked, "Herbal Essences?" Ethan shook his head and laughed. "You're a weirdo." He kissed Simon on the cheek who was still blushing. "You smell nice." Simon said in a weird, pervy voice. "Oh my god." Ethan whispered before turning back around and closing his eyes.

2 minutes later, he felt a soft finger tracing his hips. He shivered as it rode up his back, he was ticklish. "Simon, stop." He moaned in a sleepy voice. "Sorry." Simon whispered back as he stopped. Ethan went back to sleep but soon started to feel something else touching him. Something hard. He opened his eyes in shock and jumped out of the bed before running away. "Nope!" He shouted as he left the room. He could hear Simon laughing and yell, "Sorry!" as he ran into the bathroom.

"Where are we going Simon?" Ethan asked as Simon continued driving. "Don't worry babe. We're almost there. It's a surprise." He replied. Ethan looked out of the window and smiled, Simon was just amazing.

After about half an hour of driving, they finally arrived. Simon pulled Ethan out of the car. They were in Westfield. They walked to a lift and got in, Ethan started to feel sick as he remembered what happened last time he came here with Simon. Simon, as if he had read Ethan's mind, got hold of Ethan's hand and squeezed it. "It'll be ok. I promise." He quietly said as the lift doors opened.

They both walked to the cinema with Simon still holding onto Ethan's hand. "Umm, I'm here for the special screening." Simon said to the woman behind the till. "For Mr. Minter?" She asked. Simon nodded and she handed him the the tickets. "You two are very cute." She smiled. "Thank you." Ethan replied, touched by the fact that someone other then their friends had liked them together.

They walked down to where the screens were when Ethan tugged on Simon's arm. "We forgot to buy snacks." He moaned. Simon chuckled, "There's no need for them." Ethan frowned, confused, as Simon pulled him through the doors into the room.

Ethan gasped as he saw what Simon had done. The whole cinema was empty and there was candles and Nando's on the steps leading up to the seats, with pillows on them. Different pictures flicked through the screen and short videos played. Pictures and videos of Emon. "To make up for what happened on the first date." Simon whispered. Ethan wiped away a tear and ran into Simon's open arms. "I love you." He whispered, his voice breaking as he cried. "I love you too." Simon whispered back, hugging Ethan tightly.

They pulled away and Simon wiped Ethan's tears. "Come on." He said as he pulled Ethan up the stairs to the cushions. They sat down and ate as they watched the video, laughing at silly pictures and the stupid things they did. There were short home videos from before, like when the Sideman had a huge pillow fight and when they had boxing matches on the trampoline. Ethan and Simon smiled at the memories and cuddled into each other.
