Ethan sat up and leaned against the headboard of his bed while Simon sat at the side of the bed, on the edge.
"I'm sorry for everything. I regret that night so badly and I'm desperate to put it behind us." Simon said.
"Simon, I put that incident behind me a long time ago. You have to stop feeling guilty. It wasn't your fault. I want everything to go back to the way it was, when we were happy." Ethan said as he got hold of Simon's hand.
"When were we happy?" Simon silently asked, looking down at the blankets. They seemed happy before, but there was always that little bug inside them. The memories of them being insulted and not accepted. Simon wanted everyone to accept them, he wanted everyone to be happy for him. But that wasn't going to happen - he was gay.
"We need to make up with JJ, and he needs to accept us." Ethan
