Ethan's mum was washing the dishes in the kitchen when she heard the knock at the door. She put down the plate she was washing and dried her hands on a tea towel before making her way to the door.
She opened the door and stared in shock at who was in front of her. "Simon?" Simon looked up from the ground, his eyes glazed. "Mrs. Payne..."
Ethan's mum pulled Simon into the house and enveloped him in a hug, crying a little. "Oh Simon... So much has been happening and... I just don't understand." She cried. Simon held her, guilt rushing over him. She was the mother of the boy he hurt, the boy that wanted to die because of him. What she was feeling was worse then anyone else.
Ethan's mum moved away from Simon and looked at him for an explanation. Simon looked around before quietly replying. "A lot of things have happened and I regret them... I regret them beyond explanation. But all I know right now, is that I want Ethan back. He means the world to me, and losing him... It was the most painful feeling ever. Knowing that he's moved on... To a girl... Ethan's gay, we all know he is, but he's ignoring who he is. He's in denial. But I'm not. I'm gay, and I've accepted myself. And the boy that I love is Ethan. And he's the only one I love. So please, just help me. Tell me where he-
"Simon Minter?"
Simon looked behind Ethan's mum to see Ethan's dad, anger and rage taking over him. "Get out!" He yelled, pointing outside. Simon tried to reason with him. "Sir I just-"
"I said get out!"
"Please I just want to fix-"
"You've done enough already! You've ruined my boys life! I don't want to see you ever again! And I don't want Ethan to see you either!"
"Please just lis-"
Ethan's dad stormed over to Simon and grabbed the collar of his t-shirt. Ethan's mum yelled at him to stop, trying to pull his hand away. Simon stood still in terror.
"Listen boy, if I ever see you around Ethan, or any of my family, you'll pay. You don't know who I am. I am warning you for the last time. You've destroyed Ethan's life, you've broken our lives. You don't need to destroy the new life he's built without you. You're getting on my nerves boy, you're making me angry. And I can be a real bastard when I'm angry. Now get out. And don't let me see you again." He hissed, menace in his voice. He let go of Simon's collar roughly and pushed him back out of the door.
"Simon-" Mrs. Payne said before her husband slammed the door in Simon's face. Simon stared at the door for a while before finally turning away and walking. His head was filled with anger and pain, he couldn't think straight.
He was walking, but he didn't know where to. All he knew was that his legs were taking him somewhere, he didn't care where. He didn't care about anything. His vision was blurred with tears and he could hardly see. He was going somewhere, and he didn't care. He didn't care that he couldn't see the cars on the road. He didn't care if the place he would end up in would miraculously be Ethan's, or the Sidemen house, his flat, or even death. But he would end up somewhere, whether it be under a car, or in Ethan's arms.
A/N - PLEASE READ, MANY FEELINGS FOR YOU GUYS!
10K!!! I know I've always said I'm thankful and you guys are amazing and constantly repeating, but this is a huge milestone, and reaching... I actually can't believe it... Ten thousand of you have read this... Honestly, getting 100 reads was shocking for me and getting 100 times that... I love you guys so much. This book means a lot to me, because not only is this a fanfic based on the people I love, but it's also kind of a diary of my feelings. Sometimes the things the characters say, the long speeches of how they're lonely, or how they miss their other half, sometimes it's how I'm feeling. I pour my feelings into this book. And this book has helped me go through some tough times. And I want to thank you guys for making this book so good. It wasn't my content, or my style of writing or any of that stuff that made this book so good - it's you guys. And I want all of you to know that I appreciate and love you guys a lot. You have motivated me to keep on going, to push through and fight, you've been more then readers, you've been friends. So thank you so much, and when I say that I don't mean just for 10K, I mean being there for me, reading this, motivating me and being my friend. Thank you.(Started Book - 27/03/15)
