"Simon? Simon!"

Simon shook out of his sleep and looked around. Josh and Vikk had somehow made it to his flat. "Simon, what are you doing? You fell asleep in the middle of a video!" Vikk said.

"What? I don't remember." Simon replied, confused.

"We were recording Trivial Pursuit and you just stopped."

"Sorry. I didn't realise."

"Simon, if you need to rest then just tell us. We can record without you for a while but having someone sleeping through a video... That's something we can't do."

"I know. I'm sorry."

"It's ok. Try not to do it again."

"Actually... I can't record with you guys tomorrow."

"Why not?" Josh asked.

"It's Ethan's birthday."

Josh and Vikk exchanged short glances between each other before looking back to Simon. "What are you planning to do?" Vikk asked.

"I'm going to find him." Simon replied.

"What? Simon it's been months!"

"I know! But I miss him Vikk, I miss him so much." Simon's voice began breaking. "I want him back, I want him so bad. I still love him."

"Simon..." Josh walked towards Simon and put his hand on Simon's shoulder. He quietly said the words that would break Simon's heart even more. "Ethan's got a girlfriend. Simon, he's moved on."

Simon looked at Josh in disbelief. "What?" Josh didn't reply, he had tears in his eyes as well as Vikk. Simon looked down at his lap as tears slid down his cheeks. The boy he loved had moved on, he had left Simon behind. He was gone.

"Please leave." Simon whispered. The others nodded before walking out. "Please don't do anything stupid Simon." Vikk said as he paused at the doorway before leaving.

Simon continued looking down at his lap, dry tears running down his face. The only sound in the flat was the door closing. A while after the others left, Simon finally broke down, he cried loudly and shook as he breathed. He yelled as he covered his face, burying himself in his arms. The one person he loved so much in his entire life was completely gone. He yelled and cried, scratching his arms as his heart broke into a million more pieces. He felt empty, everything he had done in the past had been forgotten, the only thing he remembered was Ethan. Ethan, the boy he loved.

A long while after, Simon sat up. He was staring at his computer screen. Tears blurred his vision. Anger started rising in him. He was angry at himself. He let Ethan go, he caused Ethan to go. He blamed everything on Ethan or himself. He drove Ethan away. And now Ethan really was gone.

Simon yelled as he threw his computer off his desk, he attacked everything else on his desk and threw them about, releasing his anger. He went about the flat, grabbing anything in his sight and throwing them. The whole flat was trashed with broken things. Simon made his way to the bathroom, anger pulsing through him. He leaned on the sink and stared at the mirror in front of him. He looked at himself. He was bright red and had a tear stained face, but most of all, he was broken.

As Simon stood in front of the mirror he remembered what happened that day. The day that marked the ending of their relationship. The day Ethan hurt himself and Simon made it worse. Simon should've expected it, he should've seen the signs, but he was too busy creating them in the in the first place.

The anger rushed out of him and sadness took over again. He was heartbroken and torn apart. He sat on the cold floor and held his knees in his arms as he started crying again. Nothing could fix this.
