Chapter 23 - Repairing

"I don't know what to do Vikk, no one knows apart from you two and everything's just getting worse."

"Simon you have to fix this. Make up with Ethan then come to ours and try to make up with JJ. Eventhough he acts like he doesn't care about you leaving, we can see he's upset. You need to tell them all what happened. Show JJ what he's caused. I'm sure he regrets what he did. The video's been taken off too."

"The video's gone but the truth isn't. So many people heard it from JJ and they hate us. Vikk, I'm getting hate all the time. I'm uploading only one video everyday and people comment on the simplest things I do. They always find something bad to say about me, they'll find the littlest imperfection and make it huge. All of this started because of that video."

"Have you read any of the positive things or are you focusing only on the negative things? Simon, so many people are happy about you and Ethan, they love you. Everyone's just confused about everything. They don't even know if you and Ethan really are dating. You need to clear all of this up. Let them know and tell them to stop hating. Tell JJ to accept you two. Tell him you won't change!"

"You're right. I need to man up and stop crying whenever I'm hurt. I need to fix this, for me and Ethan. Thanks Vikk."

"No problem bro."

Simon hung up and sighed as he laid on his hotel bed. He needed to fix everything. He needed to stop keeping his relationship a secret and confront JJ. But first he had to fix the relationship he had with Ethan, which was already crumbling.

He got up and put on his jacket, stroking his hand through his hair as he glimpsed at the mirror before leaving. He drove to Ethan's house, shaking slightly at the fear of what could happen. He felt like a outsider to Ethan's parents who used to like him a lot before the incident. He felt awkward around Ethan. That special feeling he used to have when he was around Ethan was slowly leaving. He started to feel like a stranger to Ethan.

Simon lightly knocked on the door, taking deep breaths as the fear continued to rise. Ethan's dad opened the door. He looked at Simon with a stern expression. "What do you want?"

"I'd like to speak to Ethan." Simon stuttered.

"He's busy." Ethan's dad simply replied. He attempted to close the door but Simon stopped him, pushing on the door to keep it open. "Please sir, I want to make it up to him. I want to apologise for everything. I know I've messed up really badly but I want Ethan back so badly. Please sir, I love him."

Ethan's dad looked at Simon for a while before reluctantly letting him into the house. Simon ran upstairs and into Ethan's room to find him sleeping in bed, silently crying.

"Ethan?" Simon whispered as he stood near the bed. Ethan sniffled and stayed silent. "Hey, are you ok?" Simon asked as he sat down next to Ethan who still didn't reply.

"Ethan, I know everything's been really bad and we've gone through a lot. We need to fix this. I'm tired of what's been happening and I want all of this to end."

"What are you gonna do?" Ethan quietly asked.

"I want to speak to JJ. I want to tell him to accept us. That me and you love each other, and that we won't break up just because he's causing trouble."

"What's the point if speaking to JJ when there's a problem between us?" Ethan asked.

Simon paused and Ethan finally looked up at him. A mix of emotions were in his eyes. Simon took a deep breath before replying.

"We're gonna fix the problem between us first."
