Chapter Twenty-Eight: Making Progress

Tony's POV

Troy, Sharpay and I walk into the kitchen, I grab Sharpay and i's plates as the wildcats stare at us angrily and stop talking once we are near them

Zeke passively puts a food on my plate and I just walk away from him and to the meal plan area and get my food as Jason just avoids my eye contact

"Baby...I don't know what to do about the show...I've talked to my parents about letting the staff in but they won't budge" Sharpay says in a hushed voice and I sigh

"I'll talk to them....hopefully they can also answer why they did that in the first place" I say and Troy nods

"I'll come too....may actually be the first good thing I've done besides apologize" He says and I roll my eyes

We get out food and walk over to the table where Taylor and Chad are, Taylor smiles at us and glares towards Troy while Chad walks away

"Oh Sharpay...uh...do you want me to edit the song since...Gabriella left" Kelsey asks and Sharpay looks down sadly

"No...just...leave it up to Toni and I please" Sharpay asks exhaustedly and Kelsey nods before looking at us sadly

I look around as everyone stares at us angrily, I sigh angrily and storm out as Sharpay and Troy call after me

I march up the grass as I just feel every bit of anger fuel me, the show is fucked up, my relationship is fucked up and I can't fix it it the way I want

I run my hands through my hair as i dramatically run up and down the bumpy slopes of the grass

I sing as the image of Chad and everyone yelling at Troy and i comes back in my head, with Gabriella leaving lingering in the back

I frustratedly make my way around the golf course as I look around and reminisce on the many golf games I had with Gabriella and Sharpay, just as I walk to another part of the field, I hear a voice causing me to turn around and see Troy walking toward me singing as well

He walks towards me and if and I can see the sorrow in his eyes clearly as he walks past me

Troy turns around and walks backwards as I walk towards him
