"Mum?"
"Kiara!" Anna walks over taking her daughter hand and beginning to drag her away.
"We're going home. Now!"
"No!"
"Don't make a scene! Lets not do this here!" Anna snapped.
"Why? Am I embarrassing you?"
" kiara, listen to me!"
" no you listen!" Kiara clapped back.
" you can't control me anymore mum" she said tearing up. So please, please, just let us be"
Anna started to speak
" let us be" kiara repeated
For once Anna didn't say anything.
JJ took Kiaras hand in his and squeezed it giving her a reassuring look.
Kiara nodded.
Mike walked in. " what's going on in here" he said confused. His attention was them brought to the fact his daughter and JJ were holding hands.
"Ask mum" kiara said
Mike turned to Anna.
" darling, you know you can't stop this, there's no point in trying, it's going to happen, all we can do is support her"
" you mean pick up the pieces when he breaks her heart" Anna replied getting upset.
"I can assure I won't, I , I love her" JJ interjects.
Kiara smiled at his words, still surprised to hear him say them.
" it's not enough" Anna responds
"Mum, don't you want me to be happy?" Kiara asks
"I'm sorry, I just can't, I can't let you do this" Anna says.
Kiara nods in disbelief, she thought she might finally be getting somewhere with her mum.
" well, it's a good job I don't need your permission"
