Kiara waited and waited, but no one came.
She had fell asleep on the porch couch for an hour or so. Before being abruptly awoken by sounds of a passing boat on the marsh.
"Kie!" Charlotte and Jake (fellow pogues) yelled as they saw her.
" hey!" She replied
" where are you off too?" Kiara asked as she noticed them both in uniforms.
" ugh just some dreadful kook party"
"Shit" kiara whispered in realisation
" I've gotta go, I'll see you later" she yelled back before heading of back running to her house.
She raced through her front door out of breath.
" good god?" Anna said looking at her daughter. Her and Mike were just about to leave for the country club.
" I changed my mind" kiara panted out of breath.
" about the party tonight, I wanna go"
"That's my girl" Anna blushed
" I bought you a dress, it's hanging up in my room"
"Ok cool, erm thanks so I'll see you there?" She replied
" don't be silly, we'll make a proper entrance as a family. But please hurry, we're going to be late"
"Ok" kiara raced up the stares into her parents room.
" for fucks sake" she said looking at the dresses her mum picked. It was very beautiful, it's just she wasn't a girly girl. And this was a very flash dress. She wasn't exactly in the mood to put on a dress but it's a sacrifice she was willing to make. She threw on the red dress (the one from 3x01), quickly brushed her hair through and then applied minimum makeup. She grabbed a pair of heels and a purse in her hands and left the room, stopping briefly to see what she looked like in the mirror.
" not bad" she sighed. She ran downstairs and put her heels on.
"Ready!"
" ok let's go" Mike said.
