I staggered back at his words in shock, completely baffled. How did he know that name? That was enough to break my concentration, causing all the men to gain control of their minds again, which Nathaniel noticed.

Nathaniel scoffed. "That's what I thought. You're a coward. You don't what it takes to do what needs to be done. You don't deserve this power. You aren't worthy."

My heart clenched. That hurt. Before I could say anything, mom intervened. "Enough. She is braver than you could ever be. And she deserves her gifts way more than you, which I imagine you stole from some poor Inhuman."

I stared at my mom in awe. My heart warned at her words. Oh mom...if only you knew who I am to you. If only I could tell her. Nathaniel grew furious, prepared to use the powers he stole from Daisy and Kora was more than ready to strike against her mother. Immediately, I grabbed my mom and Jiaying, running out of the hallway with Elena, Alexis, Gordon, and May, trailing behind us.

"Get us out of here! Now!" I advised, turning to face Gordon.

Gordon gave us a nod as he surrounded Jiaying, mom, Alexis, May, Elena, and me before blue beams surrounded us. In a heartbeat, we were gone, teleporting in the forest right beside our Quinjet. We then climbed into the Zephyr before motioning them to follow us.

"Come on, hurry up." Elena advised.

As soon as Jiaying, Gordon, mom, and Alexis were inside, we closed the door to keep Nathaniel and the others from finding us. We can't leave them here to be killed by Kora or Nathaniel or worse.

"You can come with us." I offered.

"But we can't guarantee that it'll be any safer." May warned.

"I can't leave my people behind to die. My daughter is still out there." Jiaying argued.

My heart clenched. I can't imagine how hard this must be for Jiaying. I don't even know how we are going to break this news to Daisy.

"She made her choice, but that man with her...Nathaniel...he's our enemy, too." Elena revealed.

"We won't let you fight this battle alone." I assured her. "And that man, Damian, we will deal with him too."

"He must've gotten a hold of a Terrigen crystal, because I forbade him from going through Terrigenesis. He didn't have any abilities before..." Jiaying commented.

I raised an eyebrow. "Why?"

Jiaying hesitated before she answered. "I sensed a darkness in him. I didn't want him to go through Terregenesis. I was afraid of what he would become. He begged me to go through, assuring me he was prepared. In the end I was right."

I grimaced. So that must be the reason dad lied about his brother. There was more to this than I originally thought. May then handed Jiaying the watch she had on.

"We'll send coordinates to that watch when we're ready to meet." May informed them.

"You should find someplace to hide until then." I advised.

"There are a few places we could try." Gordon offered.

Jiaying gave Elena a sympathetic look. "I'm sorry you didn't find what you were looking for here."

They gave us one last look a ball of blue energy appeared around them. Just like that, my mom and the sister I never knew I had disappeared along with Jiaying and Gordon.

"Come on. It's gonna be close." May warned.

As soon as we buckled up, May took off, flying us up in the air. We weren't even done fixing this problem with the time drive and now we have another issue that we have to deal with once we come back. Great...the job never ends. As as we were in the air, we saw no sign of the Zephyr, making me anxious. I wasn't the only one feeling that way either.
