Y/N's POV

Both me and Naruto were now twelve and on our way to passing the academy, me and him training together to increase our skills.

Sasuke and me have gotten close, much to Ino's and Sakura's dismay. Those two still don't like me, just because I'm close to Sasuke and take up for Naruto.

"Good morning class, today as you all know, we'll be doing the final exam" Iruka announced holding up a list

I looked over at Naruto who looked back at me before I gave him a thumbs up, to which he returned.

"Once your name is called, you will proceed to the testing room, the final test will be on" Iruka said as he read the paper

"The clone justu" He finished

I immediately looked at Naruto, knowing that the clone jutsu wasn't his strong suit, Naruto already has his head in his hands.

"First up, Y/N" Iruka announced

Standing from my seat I began walking with Iruka to the room, looking back at Naruto and Sasuke, the latter huffing while Naruto cheered me on.

"You got it Y/N, believe it" Naruto said with a wide smile

I smiled along, entering the room seeing Iruka and Mizuki sensei waiting for me. Mizuki sensei has rubbed me the wrong way since his arrival, the aura he gave off was horrible.

"Okay y/n, all you have to do is make at least three clone replications" Iruka explained

With a nod I brought my hands together.

"Clone jutsu" I said, puffs of smoke appearing then disappeared, showing three copies of me

"Very good y/n, you pass, you may get your headband" Iruka said with a kind smile

I made my clones disappear before I went to get my headband, picking a y/f/c one, tying it on my waist.

Exiting the room, Naruto was called in next.

"You can don't it Naruto, believe it"I said stealing his line

"Hey, that's my line" Naruto said crossing his arms with a frown

"Sorry sorry, now don't keep Iruka-sensei waiting" I said pushing him towards the room, watching he go in

"As if he'll pass, what a loser, no ones better than Sasuke" I heard one of Sasuke fan girls say

Turning around I was about to make my way over to the girl but was grabbed by Sasuke.

"It's not worth it, ignore her" He said with same no tone voice

With a huff I glared at the girl before taking me seat next to Sasuke.

After a few minutes Naruto came out, but I noticed a change is his behavior. He was facing the ground, his posture was slouched, and he was visibly sad.

"Naruto" I called out, but he ignored me, sitting in his seat with his head down

Everyone went into the room one after another until eventually everyone one went. Everyone passed.

Except Naruto.

Speaking of Naruto, he was now gone. I got up out of my seat and left to find him. Everyone one was outside celebrating their pass but Naruto who was sat on the swing looking lonely and sad.
