Y/N's POV

"First, you candidates from the Village Hidden in the Sound, knock it off, who told you you could fight?" Ibiki said pointing at them

"You want to be failed before we've even begun?" Ibiki yelled at them

"Sorry, it's our first time, guess we're a little jumpy, sir" Dosu said to Ibiki

"I'll say this once, so listen up, there will be no combat between candidates, no attacking each other without the permission of your proctor and even then, the use of fatal force is strictly prohibited, anyone who even thinks of messing with me will be disqualified immediately, got it?" Ibiki asked everyone, everyone was quietly listen to what he said

"Hmph, no fatal force?, that's not fun" Zaku said causing chuckles to be heard

"Why is it always the ugly niggas that talk too much" I said with a fake yawn, getting a look from Dosu and his team

"Now, if we're ready, we'll proceed to the first stage of the Chunin exam, hand over your paperwork, in return, you'll each be given a number, this number determines where you will sit, well start the written test once you're all seated" Ibiki explained

"The what?, did he say, "written"?" Naruto asked in nervousness

Upon seeing the stack of test papers, he freaked out completely.

"No, not a written test, no way" Naruto yelled out

Everyone was now seated, I was lucky enough to get a seat next to Lee

Naruto was sat next to Hinata, who he was talking to currently, I watched them subtly.

"Are you ready for the test, my Lotus flower?" Lee asked me surely, grabbing my attention

I turned to Lee, resting my head I'm my hand, which caused my hair to fall into my face.

"I am very ready, are you ready?" I asked him curiously, going to move my hair from my face but Lee was already on it

"I am, I know we will make it, together" Lee said as he moved my hair behind my ear, staring at me with his eyes

I blushed at that, looking away from Lee's eyes, feeling too shy to look at him.

"How cute" Lee said taking my hand, pecking it gently

"Everyone, eyes front, there are a few rules you need to be aware of and I won't answer any questions so you better pay attention the first time around" Ibiki said looking around with a piece of chalk in his hands, once he was sure everyone was listening he went on

"All right, rule number one is this, the written part of the exam is conducted on a point reduction system, contrary to what some of you are used to, you all begin the test with a perfect score of 10 points" Ibiki explained while writing on the board

"One point will be deducted for each answer you get wrong, so if you miss theee, your final score will be 7" Ibiki said, finishing his writing on the board

"Rule number two, teams will pass or fail based on the total scores of all three members" Ibiki said catching everyone by surprise

"What?, wait a second, you're saying we all get scored as a team?" Sakura yelled at Ibiki after banging her head on the desk

"Silence, I have my reasons, so shut up and listen, rule number three, the sentinels you see positioned around the room are there to watch you carefully for any signs of cheating, and for every incident they spot, they will subtract two points from the culprit's score" Ibiki said with a grin

"Be warned, their eyes are extremely sharp and or they catch you five times, you'll be dismissed before the test are even scored" Ibiki said letting it set in

"Wow, sounds difficult" I said with a pout even though I know I'll pass since I know the answer's already

"Do not worry my flower, we will get this" Lee said looking at me with heart eyes

"Aww Lee, I know we will" I said pinching his cheeks gently, Lee blushing and smiling at that

"Anyone fool enough to be caught cheating by the sentinels doesn't deserve to be here" Ibiki said

"I've got my eye on you guys" One of the sentinels said which made the boys in front of him gasp

"If you want to be considered shinobi, then show us what exceptional shinobi you can be" Ibiki said

I sighed, stretching my body, I just want it to start already.

"One more thing, if any candidate should get a 0 and fault the test, then the entire team fails" Ibiki said with his hands in his coat pockets

"What'd he say?" Sakura yelled

I just knew Narutoqas going through an inner turmoil, I wish I could be there next to him to comfort him, knowing he was scared of what Sakura and Sasuke would do to him if he failed.

"The final question won't be given out until 15 minutes before the end of the testing period, you'll have one hour total, Begin" Ibiki yelled at the end everyone got to work

I hummed, reading the questions and answered them, quick and fast, I leaned back in my seat, watching over Naruto, who was skipping questions on the test that he didn't understand, which was basically all of them.

After a few minutes I saw Hinata slide her paper to Naruto, Naruto talking to her but I couldn't hear what they were saying since they were talking quietly.

A lot of people were getting eliminated, I guess cheating without getting caught must have been really hard for them, welp, the less people I have to deal with.

Naruto was going crazy, the clock ticking was making him anxious, I would give him the answers but Hinata had to be the one to help him. The two of them were talking but I could hear what they were saying, but I already knew. A ping hitting my chest.

I sighed, looking at all the people that were still working secretly.

I felt sad knowing that this calmness could only last for a short amount of time, that the Hokage will pass, it was all just sad. I however was focused on something else.

Gaara was here, so I have to prepare for what's to come next.
