Y/N's POV

We were now making our way to Ichiraku's, Naruto and Sakura cheering as they ran ahead, Kioa and Aroria decided to head back to the compound, feeling tired and worn.

I put my hands in my pockets, staying back with Kakashi, Jiraiya walking up next to us.

"He's all yours again, I leave him in your capable hands, as agreed" Jiraiya said to Kakashi

"I have missed this ramen so much"  Naruto yelled happily in the distance

"Guess who's splitting the bill, sensei" Sakura and Naruto cheered in unison

"We need to be prepared, the Akatsuki are beginning to move again, I'm gonna head out and see what I can find out about them" Jiraiya said to us before poofing away

"He's right, the Akatsuki are moving, they're after Gaara currently" I said to Kakashi

"Kakashi-sensei" Sakura yelled

"Huh?"Kakashi said

"We though you should know we decided that you're treating us to ramen" Naruto yelled to him

"Now come one, let's go, we're starving" Sakura yelled as well

"Sorry, you guys, I have to compile a unit dossier for the new team and send it along for filing, so unfortunately—, I'm out" Kakashi said before poofing away much like Jiraiya

I sighed, taking out my brush from my pouch, taking out my bun and brushed my hair down flat, it was still long, I'm not sure if I want to cut it or not.

"Huh, he spilt" Naruto said after Kakashi left

I put my brush away, making my way over to the duo, hands in my pockets.

"Dossier my eye, he's probably off to finish that book of his, cheapskate" Sakura said

"Well, if that's the case" Naruto said putting his fingers together before chuckling

"I suppose we could just call it a date then, couldn't we" Naruto said to Sakura, forgetting I was here

"All right, but that mean you're treating" Sakura said turning around, starting to walk away

"Eh?, uh" Naruto said as he pulled out his frog money pouch, seeing he didn't have money

"Here" I said holding out some money to him

"Oh?, y/n, I forgot you were here, you don't have to" Naruto said to me, pushing my hand away

"You want to go on a date with Sakura right?, you can't do that if you have no money, loser" I said with a huff, stuffing the money in his pouch, turning around to walk away

"Why don't you join us?" Naruto asked me

"Nah, not hungry" I lied as I started to walk away

"Y/n-Chan, you are hungry, your stomach was growling earlier" Naruto said grabbing my hand

"Naru, you just asked Sakura on a date, don't keep her waiting" I said pulling my hands from his, maybe a bit too hard

"Y/n-Chan, are you mad?" Naruto asked me

"Yes I'm mad Naruto, but that doesn-" I was about to go off on his ass, until he kissed me

I hesitated in kissing him back, not sure if this was real or not, was I in a genjutsu?, was somebody playing with my head?.

I closed my eyes and leaned into the kiss, if this was fake, I mind as well enjoy it while it lasts.

Naruto pulled back, looking behind him, seeing Sakura was long gone, probably already at Ichiraku's.
