"Wow y/n, this is amazing" Yamato said as we all sat around eating

"Thank you Yama" I said with a smiled as I ate, Naruto sitting next to me throwing down on his plate

The sun was just bout to set, creating a beautiful scenic view as we all ate, the crewmates stopping work to eat

"Why'd you learn to cook?" Guy asked me as he ate a piece of fish

"Mm, I taught myself, in my dimension before I died, my parents were never home so I had to feed myself" I said as I swallowed the food in my mouth

Guy, Yamato and Aoba all looked at me with a look of pity which I didn't expect for them to do, since it didn't make me feel sad.

"Don't look at me that way, my life is better here, I'm glad to be here" I said honestly

"I'm curious, how was your life before you got here?" Yamato asked me

The question stalled me, Naruto attention turning to me in curiosity too, everyone awaiting my answer, which I was trying to conjure up.

"Insignificant" I said with a shrug as I ate more of my fish, ignoring the looks I received

"I was 18 when I died, I had nobody, my parents wasn't there since I was 3, I had no friends, nobody liked me, I had no one since I was 3 years old, my life was insignificant" I explained for Naruto, humming

I finished my food, standing up I went under the deck, putting the plate in a bucket that held water, cleaning it off, once it was clean I dumped it in a bucket of regular water and dried it, sitting it down.

Yamato pulled me into a rather tight hug, it took me a minute to realize what was going on, but I eventually hugged him back.

"No problem, get some sleep, me, Guy, and Aoba will clean the dishes" Yamato said as he picked up the bucket with the soapy water and regular water, doing back above deck
