Y/N's POV

Neji, Shikamaru and I were now standing out in the open, standing in front of the Sound ninja. I looked them over, they didn't really scare me and that was because I knew their power, strength and how to defeat them.

"Well, well, I thought I was flushing a snake out of the bushes but all I got was a couple of mice" Sakon said looking at us

"Wait a minute, calm down, we're here to negotiate, not to fight, can't we talk this over like reasonable people?" Shikamaru asked, putting his hands up in surrender

"Hm, let's not forget your friends shall we?" Kidomaru asked with a chuckle, pulling Choji, Naruto and Kiba from their hiding spots

The three flying through the air, Kiba throwing the smoke bomb, the smoke erupting from it.

"What good is that going to do?, throw all smoke bombs you want, I still got you, these threads are so fine, they're almost invisible" Kidomaru said explaining his threads

I huffed as the smoke cleared, Naruto, Kiba and Choji sitting on the ground.

"So that double trap with trip wires you set, in fact, was actually a triple trap, that was clever, so I guess that makes you the smart one of the group" Shikamaru said

"You're about to be the dead one" Kidomaru said cockily until he went to move only to find he couldn't

"My body, what's happening?" Kidomaru asked as he tried to move again

"Man that was perfect, Kiba distracted him, you nailed em with your shadow possession jutsu" Naruto said loudly

I hummed, observing them while they were in the shadow position, realistically, I can beat all of them, but someone I have always wanted to fight was Tayuya, she always annoyed me with her cockiness and her smart ass mouth. I know Shikamaru has to fight her, but dammit do I want to beat her ass.

"Yeah that's right, your not the only ones that can spring a trap, thanks for making me look good in front of the squad, appreciated" Shikamaru said with a smirk

"Very impressive, I'd be even more impressed if I haven't mastered that technique as well" Sakon said before shuriken came flying at Shikamaru, one cutting him, making him release the shadow possession

"Earth style barrier, earth dome prison" Jirobo said making a earth dome around us

The earth dome covered us, I groaned and sat down, crossing my arms.

"Ugh, Terrific" Shikamaru said with a groan

"What is this?" Neji asked

"It's a barrier of some kind and we're stuck in it" Shikamaru explained

"Now what?" Kiba asked

"Y/n, you know how to use earth release right?, you can get us out of here?" Shikamaru asked

'Fuck, I can't just say no, then I'll look suspicious since I used earth style at the Chunin exams' I thought to myself

I nodded, standing up, stretching my body out, going over to Neji.

'fuck, just do it y/n, the faster this is over the faster you can get back home' I thought

"Your Byakugan can see the weakest point of the Chakra in this wall right?" I asked him

"Yes but I need to know the Chakra user's position first" Neji said
