Kakashi's POV

I lead team Gai and team Asuma to y/n's room, know that they were close with y/n, I had to let them see her.

Naruto had went of to do training at Mt. Myoboku since Jiraiya retired his title after what happened, the man hardly ever leaving his apartment since everything happened.

"Where are you taking us?" Shikamaru asked me, everyone looking at the door that we stopped in front of

"Y/n is a princess?, how come she never told anyone?" TenTen asked is confusing after reading the door that now said Princess y/n Uzumaki

"It's something she didn't want to tell people" I said to simply put it

"So what is she doing here?, did she summon us here?" Choji asked which made me sigh, opening the door

It was as if everyone's mouths were taped shut at that moment, the silence filling the hallway, it was so quiet that I could hear a conversation happening on the story below us.

Gai was the first to walk in, going to the coffin and looking inside, seeing y/n laying there in the same position she has been in for three days now.

This has to be one of the only times I've seen Gai cry tears of sadness, his tears usually being shed when he was happy about a topic with Lee.

"That isn't her, I don't believe that" Shikamaru said, in denial much like Naruto was, standing in the hallway after everyone else came in

"Oh my-, y/n" Ino said sadly as she looked at the girl, tears rolling down her face

What shocked me the most, however, was the tears shed by Neji, the once stoic boy that was just standing in the hallway was left in the hallway.

"S-she has a ring, where did that come from?" Asuma asked as he comforted Ino and Choji who were crying

"Naruto, he brought it on our mission we had before we came back, he was planning to propose to her" I said looking down, trying not to get emotional, having cried since this all happened

All was well until Lee finally arrived, having ran late, he was probably of training.

"What is going on?" Lee asked in confusion, seeing how sad everyone was, looking around the room at the pictures of y/n

Everyone moved back into the hallway after sharing their prayers, letting Lee view her, the boy looking at her for a moment in silence.

"M-My flower, my flower" Was all Lee could say before he broke down, much like Naruto, he and y/n were close before her death which made this harder for him to accept as well

Gai approached the boy and pulled him into a hug, both the two crying together, which was much like them, I could help the ping I felt in my chest as I listened to Gai cry along with the others, just more proof that this sick reality was indeed true.

After a while everyone had cleared out, everyone but Shikamaru, the boy still remaining frozen in the hallway, hands in his pockets as he stared at pictures of him and y/n.

"Do you want to see her?" I asked him, breaking him out of his trance, his eyes staring at me

"I-, I don't think I can" Shikamaru said honestly, voice wavering

"I understand, take your time, you can alway visit another time" I said to him with a nod

After a few minutes of just standing there Shikamaru shook his head.
