Y/N's POV

"Alright, break time's over" Kakashi said as he stood up

I hummed as I looked at Naruto, he didn't get any sleep so I stayed up with him, not wanting him to be alone.

Sakura looked around, not finding me nor Naruto, looking at Kakashi she asked where we were, Kakashi pointing to the tree branch we were on.

"Right up there" He said in his monotone voice

"Naru, ready to go?" I asked taking his hand gently

"Yeah" He said in determination

"Ok, let's get move" Kakashi said

Me and Naruto nodded and jumped ahead, getting an early start, once we get to Kankuro I'll summon the Hashirama and Tobirama to heal him so we can get that part over with fast.

Since Kakashi to everyone about everything, I'm assuming they know I can summon the dead at will too.

"Alright, we've finally reached the Desert" Naruto said, a small smile making it way to his face

"The Village Hidden in the sand is just up ahead, it's best if I take the lead from here on out" Temari said

"Lead on" Kakashi told her

I hummed as we started walking, following Temari's lead, I looked out at the sun, it now beaming down on us like a laser.

We were all now in a cave, having gotten caught in a sand storm, Naruto was very obviously upset about it.

"We got this close to our target and we're just sitting here, I can't stand this waiting" Naruto said, about to go into the storm like an idiot

"Naruto, for the last time, relax, there's nothing we can do" Kakashi told him

"I know, but-" Naruto then got cut off by Sakura

"Just be patient, would you look at Temari, she's the one who's worried the most" Sakura said

I rubbed my temples, getting a headache, not only because I haven't ate, only packing a sandwich for Naruto, but because of this conversation and the storm raging outside

"The cardinal rule of traveling in the desert, if you hit a sandstorm, you stay put, you lose all your sense of direction in a storm like that" Temari said then going on to explain more

"Well, I just hope you're right" Naruto said before looking at the storm

"Hungry?" Kakashi asked me as my stomach growled

"Yeah, but I'll be fine" I said dismissing my hunger

"Hmm, here" Kakashi said hold a nice bag that looked full to me

"What's this?" I asked taking the bag

"I knew you'd only pack something for Naruto to eat and forget about yourself, so I packed you a meal for yourself" Kakashi said before he patted my head, going to his corner of the cave

I smiled softly at the genuine care Kakashi has for me, he really does she me as his daughter.

"You guys hungry?" I asked everyone else, seeing that there was enough food for everyone if we split it up right
