Naruto's POV

I yelled as I used the Rasengan to throw Pain to the rock covered ground below, falling down from the sky myself, sliding down a rock and onto the ground.

I got up off of the ground after a few minutes, walking over to Pain to make sure he was done, crouching next to him, I looked over his body in silence.

Reaching out I told hold of one of the rods in his rib area, pulling it out to look at it.

"These rods were how all of the Pains got their chakra" I told katsuyu as I started taking all the rods out of the Pain

"If I take them out, he shouldn't be able to move anymore" I said grabbing another one, looking at it closely, having a flashback to the Pain's words

I took the rod I held in my hand and stabbed it into my palm, then flashes of dead people appeared, the last and worst sight I saw was y/n, before it shifted to Jiraiya in her place.

I took the rod out and stood up, opening my eyes, throwing the rod down, the vision of y/n's death shook me to my core, y/n truly was smart, she fooled them and allowed for Jiraiya's escape.

That's, my girl.

"Are you going?" Katsuyu asked me

"Yeah" I said with a small nod

"Then you'll need reinforcements" She said to me

"No, no one else, I'm going alone" I told her as I looked to the side

Neji's POV

Everyone was standing around Hinata as she was being healed, Aroria and Kioa were also present on the scene, having arrived a while ago, Kioa standing next to me and Aroria next to Guy.

The girls however, were shooting each other looks since Hinata's injured body was brought over here, which made me wonder what they were trying to say.

"Lady Hinata" I said as I realized she was waking

"You're all here" Hinata said as she looked at us

"Thank goodness, we were worried" TenTen said

"Yes, Hinata, are you ok?" Lee asked as she sat up

"Thank you guys, all of you, especially you, thanks, Sakura" Hinata said to us

"I'm so relieved, it's good to have you back" Sakura said to Hinata

I looked over to the girls, seeing them looking at each other again, before Kioa looked at Hinata, opening her mouth to speak but was cut off by Katsuyu.

"Naruto has defeated the last Pain" Katsuyu said to us, grabbing everyone's attention

"Yes, just leave it to Naruto" Lee said as he punched his fist into his palm

"How is Naruto doing?, is he injured at all?" Sakura asked

"Well, he's very fatigued, but he's ok" Katsuyu told her, the two girls didn't miss Hinata's reaction to these news either, because I didn't

"Girl don't act like you care, if he was, you not gonna be the one healing him, y/n doesn't want you anywhere near him" Kioa spoke up, a look of disgusted on her face

"And Hinata, what made you even go out there and try to die for Naruto?, hm?, because I know it wasn't because he's your comrade" Aroria said as she looked at Hinata

Nobody said anything to the two, they were just as curious of the answer as the two girls were, everyone looking at Hinata for an answer.

"I-it was, b-because, I-I love him" Hinata stuttered out, looking at the ground
