Y/N's POV
"So, listen, Captain Yamato, we took a look around, but it's just an ordinary ship on the inside, seems we're in luck, it isn't a ghost ship at all" Naruto said, but Yamato looked over at me, wondering if it was true, I just shrugged
The boy thinks he's still alive, who am I to sit in front of this boy and tell him he's actually dead along with his crew mates, I wouldn't do that.
"A ghost ship?!, that's just a silly superstition" Hishaku said as he laughed at the statement
"Ok but, isn't that light made by the souls of the dead?" Naruto asked the boy
"What, the glow on the mast?, no way!, now, among sailors, that light is considered to be a sign of good luck but it's just static electricity" Hishaku explained to Naruto
"Static-elec-? But what about the crows up there?, you don't normally see crows on the ocean" Naruto said, not believing that this wasn't a ghost ship since it was ticking all the boxes
"You're right, but they're not crows, they're just seabirds that got dirty 'cause of the ash from our smokestack" Hishaku farther explained
"Oh...seriously?" Naruto said as he was still skeptical
"Now, no more talk about this being a ghost ship, Aoba and I took the liberty of checking the ship's interior, we didn't find any other sailors onboard besides you, what happened to them all, Hishaku, do you know?" Yamato asked him, getting down to business
"Yeah, I mean, a ship of this size requires at least several deckhands in order to run it" Aoba said, adding onto what Yamato said
"Hey, that's right, where's the captain you mentioned?" Naruto asked Hishaku in wonder
"Mm, the crew is all gone" Hishaku said as he looked down in sadness
"Yeah, that's right, deep beneath the ocean's surface, there lurks something, that's even more terrifying than any ghost ship" Hishaku said as the ship tilted, his broom about to hit the floor but he caught it
"It's come back" He yelled
"What has?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow
"The monster! The legendary creature! The Skeleton Crab" Hishaku yelled as sweat ran down his face, it was clear he was scared
"Crab?" Naruto asked in disbelief
"But this isn't just some ordinary crab! It's huge, the size of an island, its shell is hard as a rock and if you're caught between its pinchers, it's over!, it can crush anything" Hishaku said as he explained what the crab was like
"And the barnacles that are attached to its shell can swallow a person whole" Hishaku said, making Naruto gulp, adding to Naruto's already mounting fear
