Y/N's POV

It's the day of Sarutobi's funeral and I just couldn't bring myself to go, it not like I was needed there anyway.

I laid in my bed under my covers, of course it was hot but I didn't have the energy to move.

"Y/n, you can't let yourself lay in your depression and bad thoughts" I heard from behind me

I moved my blanket, looking at the person, my throat tightening at who it was.

"W-what are you doing here?" I asked as my eyes filled with tears

"Well, Tobirama and Hashirama explained everything to me, about what you could do, what you know to happen" Sarutobi explained to me

I looked over him, I didn't summon him but I'm guessing that the necklace did since I was thinking about him. He was still wearing what he had on when he died, my heart stopping in it's beat.

"I-I'm sorry, I could have stopped it" I said looking down

"Young one, we've all heard about time travel and how dangerous it is to change the course of time" Sarutobi said to me, putting a hand on my shoulder

I let tears fall, looking down.

"Yes but, this is driving me insane Hokage-sama, having to live knowing what's to happen and not being able to stop or change it" I said running my fingers through my hair

"You do know, that you did try to stop my death right?, when you jumped up and first stopped Orochimaru from grabbing me?" Sarutobi asked me, looking at me crying

"Yeah but it wasn't enough, I wasn't good enough" I said covering my face

"You were enough for me, even now, that action showed that you'd put your life at risk to save anyone here, even if that meant being known to Orochimaru, which worries me" Sarutobi said to me, patting my head

"What do you mean?" I asked looking up at him, sniffling

"You said that he knows who you are, how?" Sarutobi asked me, taking on a more serious tone

"Well, during the second part of the Chunin exams, a giant snake was sent after me, more than like to drag me to Orochimaru, I killed it though" I said smoothing out my hair

"But now that he knows you're more powerful than before, he'll be after you harder than ever" Sarutobi said with a frustrated sigh

"Yeah, that why I didn't go with Naruto and everyone to find Sasuke, I knew I was at risk" I said while wiping my eye

I had covered my other eye with an eye patch, the swelling had went down but it was very bruised.

"I see, well, I'm assuming you can summon me at will?" He asked me

"Yes, pretty much" I said with a nod

"Whenever you're in need, summon me" He said giving me a smile

'How can someone dead be so happy and nice' I thought to myself

"You got it" I said before he disappeared

I sighed and decided to take a nap, I felt tired as fuck.

I was woken up by bangs on my door, with a huff I got up out of bed, wobbling to the door.

When I opened I was surprised to see all of squad 7, including Kakashi and Sasuke.

With the door open I could hear the rain falling down outside, the putter patter as it hit the ground and the smell was oddly soothing.

"We figured you weren't feeling well so we came to visit" Kakashi said

I nodded and let them in, stepping to my bed, sitting down.

"What's up with the eye patch y/n-Chan?" Naruto asked me curiously

'I'm surprised Sasuke let them into the compound' I thought to myself glancing at Sasuke who was looking down

I stood to my feet, walking over to him.

"Huh?" Sasuke said looking up

I cocked my arm back and slapped him, it wasn't hard by any means but it was still a slap. I pulled him into a hug, burying my head in his shoulder.

I could hear his breaths hitch before he wrapped his arms back around me.

"Y-you had me worried sick, you loser" I said pulling my head from his shoulder

"I-I'm sorry" Sasuke said quietly so no one else would hear it

I let him go, giving everyone else hugs, including Sakura who surprisingly accepted it.

I stepped back, looking up at Kakashi, he had a knowing look in his eyes and I just gave him soft nod to confirm it.

He nodded back, giving a small smile. I sat back down on my bed.

"Sorry I wasn't at the funeral, I just, couldn't bring myself to come, being surrounded by so much death does things to people" I told them all honestly

"It's okay y/n-Chan, I brought this for you" Naruto said, pulling out a flower that I presumed came from the funeral

"Oh, thank you Naru" I said with a bright smile, going to my kitchen I got a cup, it would have to work until I got a vase

"What about the eye patch?" Sakura asked me

"On, I got that a black eye while fighting back at the exams" I said putting the cup in my windowsill

"Oh I see, I hope it heals well" She said giving me a small smile

"Me too, I guess until then, I'll be Kakashi-Sensei's evil twin" I said jokingly, making Naruto Laugh a loud ass laugh and Sakura and Sasuke chuckle

"Hahaha" Kakashi said fake laughing which made me laugh

"What, I don't think me being your twin will be that bad" I said with a bright smile

Kakashi looked at me before giving my closed eye smile, putting a hand on my head.

"I guess you're right, besides, you're almost as powerful as me" Kakashi said the last part teasingly

"Hahahah" I said, now being the one fake laughing

This was a nice pace, it'd like it to stay that way.
