Y/N's POV

"This meal was so good, thank you again Naru" I said with a soft smile

"Anytime y/n-Chan, I meet Iruka at Ichiraku's after Sakura left, it was nice seeing him after so long" Naruto said with a chuckle, leaning back

I hummed, I haven't seen many people since I got back, keeping to myself.

Naruto hand slid into it mines as he told me about his journey, I don't know if he was meaning to do it or if it was happening subconsciously, but it still made butterflies in my stomach.

"Sounds like you had fun and learned a lot, wish I could have been with you" I said with a slight pout, intertwining my fingers with Naruto's

"Don't worry, I'm sure there will be other journeys you'll be able to join me on" Naruto said looking with his signature bright smile

I looked at Naruto with soft eyes, he didn't look much different than when we were little, he had the same eyes and the same smile, he was just, more mature.

"Y/n-Chan?, are you okay?" Naruto asked me with a look of worry of his face

"Naru, you, just don't know how much you mean to me, do you?" I asked him, cupping his cheek with my hand

"If this is a joke, and you're just lying about liking me, please just break my heart now" I said honestly, I didn't want this to be a lie, I don't want him to break my heart, I couldn't take that

"Y/n-Chan, I wouldn't lie to you like this, I wouldn't mess with your feelings like that, I'm not evil" Naruto said with a frown

I hummed, leaning forward, pressing my lips gently onto his, using my other hand to cup his other cheek.

I pulled back from the kiss, looking at Naruto, who still had his eyes closed and his lips perched, I giggled and kissed him again.

Naruto wrapped his arms around me, pulling me closer to him, which just so happened to put me in his lap.

Naruto pushed back into the kiss, taking control of it and I completely let him.

We soon had to pull apart to breath, our eyes looking, then I thought popped in my head.

'Shit, everyone just saw me kissing Naruto' I thought with shock

"That was amazing" Naruto said in a daze, his cheeks flustered

"You're adorable" I said with a chuckle, pinching his cheeks

We've come so far from the little kids we were, something about it, makes me emotional.

"How about, we go get some dessert?" I suggested, standing up from his lap

"Sure thing" Naruto said standing as well, taking my hand in his

I hummed as we walked back to the village, me telling him stories about jail since he inquired on it.

"What dessert do you want to eat?" I asked Naruto curious, I could barely see through my hair since it was consuming my whole damn face

"Would you like me to put your hair in a ponytail?" Naruto asked me curiously

"No, you wouldn't know how to do it right" I said with a chuckle

"What, I-I do know how to do it, believe it" Naruto said confidently, besides the stutter

"Oh really?, then do it" I said pulling out a hair tie, handing it to him

Naruto took the hair tie, stepping behind me, Naruto gathered all of my hair up into his hand and held it.

"Do you have a brush, y/n-Chan?" Naruto asked me curiously
