Tsunade's POV

"Lady Tsunade, couldn't you please reconsider this, one more time?" Shizune said to me as I looked out at the view

"Reconsider what?" I asked as I put my hand in my hair

"The Naruto issue" Shizune said making me sigh

"Allowing  Naruto to take part in a mission like this, it's far too risky for him, My lady, just imagine if something were to happen to him" Shizune said to me, which made me hum

"Answer me this, Sakura, will y/n be going in this mission?" I asked still looking out at the village

"Yes, My lady" Sakura answered me quickly

"And would she ever let Naruto get hurt?" I asked as a follow up question

"No My lady, she'd never let anyone or anything hurt him" Sakura said with a hum

I hummed and finally faced them, closing my eyes I crossed my arms before opening them again, trying to contain my anger.

"Hm, I won't say it again, Naruto, Y/n and Sakura are a part of Team Kakashi and that's who I've assigned to this mission, I already explained my reasoning" I said to Shizune

"I understand that, My lady but still, it's not really Team Kakashi if Kakashi Hatake can't even go with them, the situation is different from when we sent them to the Hidden Sand Village" Shizune said to me, pleading me to change my mind and my decision

Sakura seemed to hear what Shizune said, a look of slight worry on her face.

"Don't be so worried, Sakura, on that point, I've already come up with a solution, I'll be giving you two substitutes to fill the gaps left by Kakashi and Sasuke, make sure you tell Naruto" I explained to Sakura but also for Shizune to hear as well

"Yes" Sakura said before her and Shizune walked away

This mission will be a success, I can feel it.

Y/N's POV

Naruto still stood frozen so I jumped in front of him, blocking his body whilst also performing a jutsu.

"Water Release: Water Bullet" I said taking a deep breath, shooting the water out of my mouth at the draws, which melted them away

"Naruto, go straight for him" Shikamaru yelled at Naruto after I took out the lions

"Right" Naruto yelled as he went straight for Sai, Shikamaru using his shadow stitching jutsu on the last bit of lions that I didn't get

Naruto jumped up to Sai, his Kunai sliding from in his sleeve, his and Sai's weapons colliding.

"I can't, who are you?" Naruto asked Sai who had a fake smile on his face

"Funny, you're pretty weak, aren't you?" Sai said with the same smile on his face

"Huh?" Naruto said in hurt

"The way you fight, do you have any balls at all?" Sai asked, putting Naruto down

"Wha—, uh, what was that?" Naruto asked, blushing for a split second in embarrassment, gain strength over Sai

I didn't like the fact that Sai was insulting my man so I did what I had to do.

I jumped on the roof and kicked that Nigga back into the wall behind him just as he jumped back to escape Naruto, watching his body bounce off.
