Y/N's POV

I've kept to myself since the day of the Hokage's funeral, putting my body through non-stop training, I couldn't stop, because if I did I'd be left to the thoughts in my head.

My head has been a war, to say I was drowning in my own pain and depression would be an understatement and I just didn't have anyone to talk to about it.

There was Kakashi and the team but I don't want to be a burden, not right now.

I am living in fear, knowing that Orochimaru was sending Itachi and Kisame to the village soon to destroy it. I know for a fact that Orochimaru is after me, especially after what I did at the Chunin Exams.

I sighed as I got dressed, I haven't been getting much sleep, being plagued by multiple different nightmares.

I didn't bother to look at myself in the mirror, knowing I had dark bags under my eyes and that my eyes have lost their light, the light of hope and happiness.

I got dressed and left the compound, Kakashi had told me to meet him, I knew what it really was for but I didn't at the same time.

I made it to the spot, I was moving slow due to the fact that my body was in pain, having trained all day and night yesterday. I wanted to go see Lee, but I could t bring myself to face him, guilt eating away at me from the thought alone.

I had my head down, I did want to face them like that

"Y/n" Kakashi said gaining my attention

"Yes, sensei?" I asked in a monotone voice, looking up at him

I could see Kakashi visibly freeze when he saw my face, maybe it's because of my dark under eyes, maybe it's because I looked dead inside. Whatever is was though, made him freeze.

"A-" Kakashi was going to say something but Asuma and Kurenai came walking up

"Hey guys, you two seem to be getting along" He said to them, closing his book

"Huh, idiot, Anko just asked me to pick up rice dumplings for her" Kurenai said blushing as she looked away

"What are you doing here?, aside from catching up on your reading?" Asuma asked Kakashi

"I need to buy something to put on a grave, plus I'm meeting somebody here, I'm just waiting for Sasuke" Kakashi said

I looked next to him, spotting Itachi and Kisame

"Huh, it's not like you to be waiting on somebody, is it for Obito?" Asuma asked Kakashi

"Obito?" Kurenai asked in wonder

"Uh, yeah, kind of" Kakashi answered

Kisame caught eyes with me, since Itachi's back was facing me.

Kisame was sitting in front of him, his eyes watching us subtly until they locked on mines.

We stared at each other for a few seconds, both trying to read each other, until I heard my name being called

"Y/n, what are you doing here?" Sasuke asked

"Oh, Kakashi told me to come here" I said in a monotone voice, finally filling facing Sasuke
