Jeongyeon wasn't a particularly proud person; she liked to think she was mostly humble. But if there was one thing she did take pride in, it was keeping her space clean and organized. Whether it was her room at her family's home, the apartment she shared with her sister, Seungyeon, or the dorm she stayed at during comebacks, she always kept her area clean.

That fact also extended to her car. Unfortunately for Jeongyeon, it was a chore to keep tidy when a certain passenger princess by the name of Im Nayeon was constantly putting her cleaning abilities to the test.

"Jeongyeon, open wide," Nayeon said as she held out a fry.

"Unnie, I'm driving," Jeongyeon said, keeping her eyes on the road.

"Duh, that's why I'm feeding you. Now open your mouth."

The younger woman sighed internally before obeying. Nayeon popped the fry into her mouth and Jeongyeon could see her grinning in satisfaction out of the corner of her eye.

Jeongyeon didn't like being distracted while driving. She was always careful to be vigilant, especially when her family or fellow members were riding with her. But Nayeon didn't seem to care as she grabbed another fry and continued to feed her.

"Do you think we'll make it there in time for the sunset?" Nayeon asked around a mouth full of fries.

Jeongyeon snuck a quick glance over just in time to see a few fries fall out of the container and onto the floorboard.

"Yah, you're spilling fries everywhere!"

"Oops. Sorry."

Nayeon giggled as she leaned forward to pick up her mess. But in the process of picking up the fries she'd spilled, the container slipped from her lap, dumping the remaining fries onto the floor. Nayeon started laughing uncontrollably, falling back into her seat and clapping her hands.

Jeongyeon contemplated pulling over and kicking Nayeon out. That would make an interesting headline on Dispatch: Twice's Im Nayeon spotted hitchhiking on busy freeway. She would even give them the perfect picture to use.

"Im Nayeon, you're lucky I love you," Jeongyeon grumbled.

"Oh don't worry about your precious car," Nayeon said with an eye roll. "A few fries aren't going to ruin it."

She resumed her cleaning job and this time she was successful. She shook the container of fries in Jeongyeon's face once she was finished.

"See, all picked up," Nayeon stated triumphantly.

"Quit that," Jeongyeon huffed. She pushed Nayeon's arm to get the container out of her face.

"Careful now Jeong, I might spill them again."

Jeongyeon whipped her head to the side, glaring daggers at Nayeon, who was sporting a mischievous grin.

"You spill them again and you're a dead bunny."

"Tch. Like you could live without me."

"I lived without you for fourteen years. I can do it again." Jeongyeon smirked.

"That was before you knew I existed. Now that you've met me, you can't live without me," Nayeon stated confidently, as if it were fact. "Face it Jeongie, you're stuck with me for life."

Nayeon leaned over the middle console and pressed a kiss to her cheek. Jeongyeon reeled back in disgust, rubbing her cheek against her shoulder to erase the kiss.

"Will you quit distracting me? I'm trying to drive! Do you want to make it in time for the sunset or not?" Jeongyeon fussed.

"Alright, alright. Calm down Jeong."

Nayeon rubbed her hand down Jeongyeon's arm, knowing that it soothed her. Despite being able to rile each other up in an instant, they also knew how to comfort each other better than anyone. Just a touch from Nayeon was enough to help Jeongyeon relax. While a few whispered words of comfort from Jeongyeon put Nayeon at ease no matter how bad she was feeling.

Nayeon let out a huge yawn, suddenly feeling quite tired. They had been driving for over an hour now and still had two more to go.

"Why don't you take a nap Nabongs?" Jeongyeon offered.

"Are you sure?"

A nap did sound nice, but Nayeon didn't want Jeongyeon to feel lonely while she rested.

"It's fine. I know you're tired."

Jeongyeon reached over and took Nayeon's hand, bringing it to her lips and pressing a quick kiss to her knuckles. A bright pink blush flooded the older woman's cheeks. Nayeon still couldn't get used to these displays of affection. Jeongyeon had literally wiped off her kiss a few moments ago, and now here she was being affectionate.

Things between them had changed since Jeongyeon had returned from hiatus. There were no sudden declarations of love or significant changes to their relationship. Of course, they had always been close, but not like this. They both felt they had moved a little further from friendship and into something that could possibly be more.

"Go to sleep. I'll wake you up when we get close," Jeongyeon said gently.

Nayeon smiled gratefully and squeezed Jeongyeon's hand. Deciding to take a risk, Nayeon leaned over and once again pressed a kiss to Jeongyeon's cheek, letting her lips linger a little longer than necessary.

This time, Jeongyeon didn't complain, and she didn't wipe it off either.
