It's strange to think that someday they won't have this anymore. Right now it feels like this will go on forever because that's how it always feels in the midst of living life because they're in the thick of it all and the passage of time isn't really at the forefront. But then suddenly they're waking up one day and it's been nine years since they debuted, and they both wonder where did all the time go. They were just kids who didn't know anything at all, they just wanted to sing and dance and maybe even make a mark on history if it was something they could do. And they did. They made a mark bigger than anything they could have ever dreamed.

Jeongyeon cries when she thinks about everything they've accomplished and Nayeon is always there laughing at her when she does, but the older woman feels it too, those same deep feelings of pride and joy and gratefulness. She cries too when no one else is around to see her tears but Jeongyeon.
"What do you think we'll be doing nine years from now?" Nayeon asks out of the blue. They're sitting in one of the company vans, stuck in traffic on a busy Seoul highway, on their way home from the airport.
"What's with this question? So out of the blue unnie," Jeongyeon laughs.
"I mean it Jeongyeon-ah, what do you think we'll be doing?" Jeongyeon pauses and thinks and Nayeon waits expectantly for her answer. Their managers smile and wait to see what half of the no jam duo will say.
"Hmm, nine years from now.....you'll probably still be annoying me with your aegyo even though you'll be way too old to be doing that," Jeongyeon says, earning herself a hard slap to her shoulder while their managers laugh at the pair.
"Why did I even bother asking you pabo?" Nayeon frowns and aims her best glare at the younger woman. Jeongyeon is rubbing the spot where Nayeon hit her, but she's grinning like a mischievous little kid.
