Clock in. Serve drinks. Throw out the troublemakers. Laugh at the lame pickup lines. Clean up. Clock out. Go home.
That's been Jeongyeon's routine for as long as she's worked at the bar. Not much has changed. The faces have except for the regulars she's come to know over the last few years and that one time when the bar owner decided to try a new fancy beer that everyone hated. But besides that, nothing ever changed.
Until she walked in.
Jeongyeon remembered everything about that night, from the stained white tshirt and ripped jeans she was wearing and how she'd just stuck a piece of cotton candy flavored gum in her mouth to when it fell to the grimy floor when she caught sight of the most beautiful girl she'd ever seen in all her twenty five years of life. Even the crappy lighting in the bar made her look like a painting come to life.

A pretty girl like that didn't belong in a bar like this. She was too good for this place, and Jeongyeon meant it with all her heart. She deserved to be in a classy restaurant with gourmet meals and actual tablecloths, not here where the tables stayed slightly dirty no matter how many times Jeongyeon wiped them down and the only decent thing on the menu was chicken wings.
The pretty girl was with a guy, some good looking douche with pants that were a little too tight and thick hair that had too much product in it. Jeongyeon knew the type of guy he was; she could clock those fuck boys a mile away. Poor girl. It was a shame she was stuck with someone like him tonight.
"Jeong, I need a glass of Pinot and a bottle of Cass," Jihyo called out.
